It's really not that hard to see, he's incredibly popular still on social media and his agency (UTA) has been pretty aggressively pushing him among their top billing for NIL opportunities. I remember being pushed him along with Livvy Dunne and Will Levis some months ago as their headliners. There aren't a lot of male NCAA athletes with bigger followings if any.

I get that he has a big following, but how many of them are middle aged women or women in general?  From a demographics standpoint, I just don't see Coach getting much out of this.  Maybe they're hoping to make inroads with young men, but their product line isn't exactly young man friendly.  Is he going to be introducing their new Spring\Summer purse lineup?  I guess it doesn't really matter. I just think it's a very odd pairing.

  2. OK, that's just fucking weird... what benefit could Coach possibly get out of an endorsement from a regionally popular football player?  Their customers are largely women who have no idea who the fuck Evan Stewart is.  Is he supposed to drive sales?  It might be different if the company was based in central Texas or something.  That just looks like wasted money.  Is their CEO an aggy?

  3. They didn't renew?  Did their players know they could get dropped from their NIL deals like that?  I imagine anyone who can't find a new home, and thus sticks around, is going to be majorly fucking pissed off after getting paid the year before.  Imagine having to take a 100% pay cut at your current job, but somehow you still have to go to work at that same job everyday.  Not going to be a happy camper.

  4. There's no dominant team this year.  I think the championship still runs through Milwaukee for the East, but they're certainly beatable.  There's got to be around double digit teams with legit championship potential.

  5. $350 for 3 people on a 4 day cruise?  That can't cover anything other than being on the ship.  There have got to be a lot of fees to pay, plus the cost of food.  Even if the fees and food double the price, it's still pretty cheap.  Will there be any booze at all on a mormon ship?

  6. They like to think of themselves as some kind of victims of our greed and conference manipulations.  Of course, they leave out that they voted in lock step with us on every issue for the entire time they were in the conference.  I'm sure they were horrified when the league offices were moved to Dallas. I'm sure they were horrified when equal revenue sharing was voted down every year they were here.  They also took a large sum of cash from the conference, intended to placate them, while they were actively negotiating their exit ... and then left and kept the money.  assholes...

  7. Celtics acquire legit 3pt shooting big, Mike Muscala, from OKC for some change they found in their couch cushions.  He's on a good contract with a team option for next season. Shooting 39.4% from 3 point range this year after shooting 42.9% last season.

  8. I wonder if my Celtics are going to stand pat.  They need a big and a wing to spell Tatum pretty bad.  The Celtics have the best record, but I'm not sure they're on pace to break 60 wins.  They are not a dominant team. They need to add some pieces.  I think they've got a couple trade exceptions and I think they got a small exception for the Gallinari injury.

  9. Phoenix has a hell of a starting 5 on paper no matter who the 5th is... however, who the fuck is on their bench and how often can that starting 5 stay healthy enough to play together?  Warren's a solid offensive player when he's healthy.  That's a really old team to have little depth.  I'm guessing they're going to shop from the buyout players... I'm assuming they can only offer vet minimum, but maybe there's a few players who want to chase a ring.
