Here's their cringe fight song. Please share this with any recruits you know.

How any young black guy could watch this and still say "Hell yeah, I want in on that" is baffling

I never really paid attention to their stupid fucking song before.  But since the lyrics were on the screen, I guess I never realized how almost the whole fucking song is about us.

Sheesh. Raptor is killing  the vibe in here with his unaggy realism.

I actually think he's too pessimistic.  Our defense travels, but our offense can go through some of the most head scratching awful, prolonged stretches of play.  Our offense can keep any team in the game with turnovers and short fields.  I'd feel a lot better about things if Quinn didn't look so injured in the second half of the last game.  If we struggle in pass pro, this one could be a tight, ugly game.

What we did wrong was letting unlimited money into the political arena, as an example the campaign for the open senate seat in Michigan Slotkin(D) v. Rogers(R), according to Open Secrets

Slotkin raised $45,202,000 and there was $78,467,000 in outside spending
Rogers raised $10,484,000 and there was $62,381,000 in outside spending

We have let big donors control elections and how campaigns are run; over $100 million spent to elect someone to a position that pays $174,000 (so about 1/1,000 or what is spent for the election).
I am not smart enough to figure out how to put that genie back in the bottle; but if you think these people are not agents for (pick your flavor) pharma, tech, finance, military, medicine, etc. then I have some ocean front property near Tulsa that I would like to sell you. PAC's, SuperPAC's, dark money, corporate money, etc they could care less about anything but their own balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.

That's certainly one element. That was, of course, done by a conservative Supreme Court.  However, even if there were still limits on political spending, that would not have stopped the propaganda machine. It exists outside of the government.

  4. Van Jones is starting to get it.  Hopefully it spreads up.  We're doomed if leadership doesn't make massive course corrections.

“We got beat because the conservatives and Republicans built a different media system,” Jones said on the channel Thursday. “It had to do with online, had to do with podcasts, with streaming platforms. And they were spending their money there.”

Jones bemoaned that many Democrats and mainstream media outlets were “laughing at Trump for throwing away his ground game and doing weird stuff online.”

“It turned out we were the idiots,” he continued. “We woke up in a body bag because while we were knocking on doors, they were making these phones into 24-hour-a-day political weapons for themselves.”

  5. The amount of shit that basically went completely under the radar with Trump is insane.  He's a terrible business person.  Besides the bankruptcies, he's literally had dozens of other failed businesses that didn't require bankruptcy protection.  They just quietly shut down operations.  The people at The Apprentice admitted that they made up the narrative about him being a good businessman to sell the show.  We never made a dent in the BS veneer of his business acumen.

The Epstein shit was also insane.  Trump was best friends with the worst child trafficker in US history.  He got a pass from the media.  Trump was accused of child rape from boys and girls. He's in pictures with some of the accusers.  He was on Epstein's pedo plane at least 6 or 7 times that we know of.  He's mentioned in the released court documents something like 170 times, and all the documents haven't been released, not even close.  He never paid a price.  Hell, it didn't even get airtime.   We likely just elected a child rapist to the White House FFS.

We have to fix our messaging and our information distribution mechanisms.  The above is just a handful of things he could be hit on, that basically flew under the radar.  If it was Biden who was besties with Epstein, you know that the right would make sure every person in America heard about it.  We have to revamp everything so we can get our narrative in front of people to at least have a chance.

  6. We're in  the state of Texas. You can find cases in our state alone where women were denied life saving care. There was a woman who died just before the election. She went to 3 different hospitals, she was bleeding down her legs, her mother was begging, screaming for help.  She went septic and died.  In Texas.  You can google women arrested for miscarriage to find cases where it has happened.

All the information I need is that America wants a grifter asshole to be its President.

How in the hell can we blame this election on disinformation?

They don't believe he is a grifter... because their propaganda\messaging apparatus runs over everything.  Which is why we need to mobilize to get better messaging to the places where people are being indoctrinated... social media, YT, podcasts etc...

There is dem arrogance, sure. That isn’t the major issue.

I’ll research it after my flight, but there was someone a few years back who did a focus group on dem policies and they worded it in a way to make it seem like they were policies coming from the radical republican party. Those in the group loved the policies and were really excited about them. The whole time, thy were policies the Dems were proposing or were already doing.

    This is 100% a misinformation/disinformation election.

There was a study done this year, I forgot the name. They presented Harris and Trump's policies without telling the people in the study whose policy it was.  Conservatives liked Harris policies much more than Trump's when presented anonymously.

You’ve missed the story. Culpability should be attributed to Dem arrogance and persistent displays of moral superiority. And I believe Dems were morally superior and for the first time ever, in the two biggest elections voted that way.

But talk of misinformation being the primary culprit totally misses the point. Doubling down on arrogance won’t get anyone far.

Russia dropping 10s of millions of dollars for the content of their choice had nothing to do with it, I'm sure.  Tim Poole went from making like $500 a week to $300k a month with Russian money.  FFS, we are under literal Russian attack.

It's a little too late for that.  Who the fuck is going to rein in misinformation? The party that is built on misinformation?  Bless your heart.

    This sums it up:

r/WhitePeopleTwitter - GenZ is brain rotted

You don't have to bring everyone back to reality.  You just need to win enough back to win elections, assuming we still have real elections in the future.  A lot of people who voted for Trump didn't like him. His favorability was lower than Harris's.  People are struggling to survive and they voted because they remember things being cheaper when Trump was in office.  That's true, but clearly outside of Biden's control.  Trump left office before all Trump's inflationary actions hit home.  Now he gets the economy, mostly fixed again.  FFS

Y’all already have it.  CBS.  NBC.  ABC.  Hollywood.  MSNBC.  CNN.  All the Big Tech platforms outside of X.  Reddit.  Almost all the major newspapers.

That's not where the war is being waged.  Most media is now conservative owned anyway.  Billionaires have been buying them up.

  12. Funding to combat\counter disinformation.  It is clear we have lost the information war.  We brought a knife to a gun fight and lost.  When you look at what Tim Poole, Candaice Owens etc put out, the videos are polished and professional looking.  They sound plausible. These creators have a team of editors, researchers, cameramen and writers.  They can produce multiple videos a day that look great and sound plausible.  They get large pay and support staff.  Our content creators have to rely on monetization and have to do all the work themselves.  They'll never be able to keep up.

PraegerU is brilliant.  It's evil, but brilliant.  People have short attention spans these days. They create short videos with great graphics that are easy to understand and follow.  They promote bullshit, but that's not the point.  The format and concept are brilliant.

We have lost multiple generations of people, young men in particular, to extremely well funded propaganda.  It may be really hard to win them back.  The Russian money and conservative money are literally killing our country.  Russian propaganda has been frighteningly effective.  Conservative people cheer at the mention of Putin or Orban.  They've been convinced we're not even a democracy.  They have been successfully turned against some of the most important tenets of western democracy.   Their misinformation has made it to the halls of Congress.  Russia got a president elected twice.  My god, that's the most effective propaganda campaign in the history of the world.

We need to fund our own counter campaign. We are getting slaughtered in the information wars.  If we can't respond to this fast, I fear we will never recover.
