Cook’s complete aversion to blocking is concerning.
It’s the reason Jimbo never offered.

Not sure what's worse - staring into the blinding sun in this POS called Jerry World or the referee’s unbearable lisp.

Is Vandegrift the reason Lake Travis isn’t as good? Or is it just happenstance?
Vandegrift split from Cedar Park in 2012.

Desoto & Aledo are two of the easiest picks of the weekend. NS-Duncanville is about as big of a tossup as it gets. Would be cool if samples won but I think NS is going to be too much
As a Vandegrift fan headed up to the game, this is music to my ears.

Was finally able to complete the sign up process for Bally's. What an absolute piece of shit app! These mother fuckers have formulated a sign in methodology that doesn't exist anywhere else on the planet. OK, rant over and fuck off UIL and Bally's.

So we should expect a 10-2 or 11-1 prediction before midnight?

Vandegrift’s mascot should be The Generators.
Huh?

I went to the Vandegrift game last night and had no clue WTH happened on the 4th and goal play until a buddy of mine just sent me a video. The snap was botched on the QB sneak and VG recovered the ball on the 1 yard line. One helluva game by both teams.

This dude makes a post and then can't hack it when people call him on it. Good riddance. I don't hate Worthy, I hate his effort, or lack thereof. Not the only person either, but take your ball and run home.
Why can't you two settle this like the adults and have a 40 yard dash competition on Bevo Blvd?

Weigman’s folks are Texas Exes, right? I’d never let my kid go to aggy, but a full scholarship and paying off the house/cars walks.
LOL. No, they went to Sam Houston State.

Just a gut feeling, but I think Hicks sticks with aggy. There’s a lot of “turmoil” at Paetow, I bet the family wants to keep a low profile right now.
Care to decode this for the rest of us?

Anyone else hearing that Weigman is out of practice this week with the flu and will be a game time decision?

This continues to be repeated, and yet these super protective parents were OK seeing his head get bounced off the turf, seeing an o-lineman lift his limp body off the ground, not have any concussion checks done, and sent right on back into the game. Either the parent's level of concern is vastly overblown, or they are seeing a HUGE payout from aggy to let him keep playing.
Nobody (at least with knowledge of the situation) said the parents are overprotective. His dad played middle linebacker at the college level and understands what it means to play the game. And I can confidently tell you that they are not whoring the kid out for a pay day, but the NIL front is active.
BTW…the fact that a 5 star QB that signed with them is still working on NIL further supports the info CTJ has shared.

Here's what I've said, which are the facts not an argument.
- 1 concussion in high school
- played short and third, no pitching whatsoever
- might have played some select ball in summer of 21, otherwise hasn't played baseball since junior season ended in May of 21. Had it not been obvious early on he was leaning towards football he would have been drafted fairly high. Hard to say how high
Parents have never said he'd give up football for baseball for injury or any other reason. They also wouldn't say anything to anyone if they were happy with his situation or not.
Not sure if he was concussed Saturday or not. But people with his best interests at heart said he's fine. I think it's fair to say any qb is susceptible to injury if they take a shot to the head, or land on the back of their head, or get driven into the turf on their shoulder with a 250 pound LB along for the ride to make sure they stick the landing for that matter.
I'll defer to all the above posts by qb mechanics experts, but I guess he had a lot of people snowed to get a 5 star rating, be in the Elite 11, and dozens of offers.
I have known both of his parents for 30+ years and this is 100% accurate - "They also wouldn't say anything to anyone if they were happy with his situation or not."

It's not the DL this year. It's Taafe, Brooks, Johnson, Tucker-Dorsey, Crawford, and #43. But yes, we need Hicks, Hill, and the recent decommited kid from Oklahoma State.
#43. LMAO

Watching today's OB Modcast & Ketch says that Vasek decommitting from OU is inevitable & OU is really MAD AF about Vasek's UOV for the ISU-UT game & he wouldn't be shocked if Vasek decommited this week. Skip to the 46:55 time mark for the segment:
You watched until the 46:55 mark? What dafuq is wrong with you?

I mean, how many of these regards sell insurance? There’s only so many policies to go around. The industry can’t possibly support 75k graduates every 4 years.
And that is precisely the reason 7th and 8th grade girls basketball is played - they need coaches.

Card started his entire JR year. For some reason a lot of people don't remember that. He played WR and backed up Baldwin as a SO. Baldwin went down early in the state championship game and Card had to take over. Card finished his SO year second on the team in receiving behind some guy named Garrett Wilson...
