Desoto & Aledo are two of the easiest picks of the weekend. NS-Duncanville is about as big of a tossup as it gets. Would be cool if samples won but I think NS is going to be too much

As a Vandegrift fan headed up to the game, this is music to my ears.

This dude makes a post and then can't hack it when people call him on it. Good riddance. I don't hate Worthy, I hate his effort, or lack thereof. Not the only person either, but take your ball and run home.

Why can't you two settle this like the adults and have a 40 yard dash competition on Bevo Blvd?

This continues to be repeated, and yet these super protective parents were OK seeing his head get bounced off the turf, seeing an o-lineman lift his limp body off the ground, not have any concussion checks done, and sent right on back into the game.   Either the parent's level of concern is vastly overblown, or they are seeing a HUGE payout from aggy to let him keep playing.

Nobody (at least with knowledge of the situation) said the parents are overprotective.  His dad played middle linebacker at the college level and understands what it means to play the game.  And I can confidently tell you that they are not whoring the kid out for a pay day, but the NIL front is active.

BTW…the fact that a 5 star QB that signed with them is still working on NIL further supports the info CTJ has shared.

Here's what I've said, which are the facts not an argument.

    - 1 concussion in high school

    - played short and third, no pitching whatsoever

    - might have played some select ball in summer of 21, otherwise hasn't played baseball since junior season ended in May of 21. Had it not been obvious early on he was leaning towards football he would have been drafted fairly high. Hard to say how high

Parents have never said he'd give up football for baseball for injury or any other reason. They also wouldn't say anything to anyone if they were happy with his situation or not.

Not sure if he was concussed Saturday or not. But people with his best interests at heart said he's fine. I think it's fair to say any qb is susceptible to injury if they take a shot to the head, or land on the back of their head, or get driven into the turf on their shoulder with a 250 pound LB along for the ride to make sure they stick the landing for that matter.

I'll defer to all the above posts by qb mechanics experts, but I guess he had a lot of people snowed to get a 5 star rating, be in the Elite 11, and dozens of offers.

I have known both of his parents for 30+ years and this is 100% accurate - "They also wouldn't say anything to anyone if they were happy with his situation or not."

    CSB….

Went to my local Kroger (HEB wasn’t open) and the checkout lady commented on my Longhorns shirt. Said she had a nephew who was being recruited by the Horns. Guess who her nephew is?

You for real?   Fuck off with this dumbass guessing game.

Card started his entire JR year. For some reason a lot of people don't remember that. He played WR and backed up Baldwin as a SO. Baldwin went down early in the state championship game and Card had to take over. Card finished his SO year second on the team in receiving behind some guy named Garrett Wilson...
