My local guy told me to expect about $400 and some change to service my old 1978 Date. He's not a certified Rolex dealer, but he does good work. Omegas run me about $200 or less to service with him. He told me Rolex parts are designed to wear, which requires they be replaced at each service. I'm planning to take mine in soon. 40 years and running strong. About time for its first service I suppose. My Omega Constellation just got its first service after 58 years. Needed a few parts, but mostly was fine.
He's not fast, but he's very good and super reasonable. Rolex probably wouldn't touch my watch anyway since the original band is long gone.
You just had your Omega serviced for the first time in 58 years and it cost you $200?
Is his name Stan by chance?

Love love love the look of the 14060. I can get past the $9,000 price tag, but $1,000 service every few years is ridiculous.
Make the service $300 and I might bite.
I think you can budget ~$800 every 4/5 years and be fine TBH. My Speedy cost about that and I waited five years. Not ideal, but the watch is fine.

How much was the service for the old Rolex? I just took my President in and got a shock. I had never had it serviced in 15 years and it just stopped running one day. Apparently, I should have had it cleaned and serviced every 3 years. The quote is $1,400 to get it going again.
Basically had it rebuilt and added the lizard strap from Rolex for ~1,300. No idea if it helped that I work in NYC and was able to take it to their service HQ or not. -

Love that strap on it.
I love you.

II find that comment hurtful
You know as well as I do that the first rule of
Golf is always to swing harder. -
Picked up this from the service department today. Glad to have it back.

That is the best advice on any course
If you swing like a pussy, sure. -
Trump was ridiculous. I live in the NY area and thought I was fairly used to the rough up here only to be humbled early and often....Caddie had us all clubbing up two everytime we were hitting out of it.
I probably should have just tried to hit more fairways.

Got to play a few cool courses this summer:
Sankaty Head
Trump Bedminster
And a few cool shots from my course:- 2

Hi guys.

Yes, it’s just a case where the fine boys need some inspiration.

The Telegraph is reporting that we’re interested in Pulisic since it’s looking unlikely that Sessegnon will happen.
Yes please. -
One of these things is not like the others.
Dan Marino? -
Punter looks like garage
Single or double? -
It's the FA Cup, this has been Vorm's competition all year.
It’s a fucking insult to the rest of the team. No offense to Vorm, but when it’s a “win and in” match and the other team is Man U and throwing Sanchez, Pogba and certainly starting de Gea you fucking play your world class GK.
It’s not exactly like we’re tripping over trophies.
Just a blatant “don’t care” from MP. Whatever.- 3

Yay!

There’s only one Arsène Wenger.
He’s a pedophile though. -
I’m here right now for a super quick trip. Even while not really doing anything I still love this city so much.
