They want him as a TE he hasn’t proven to be a very good qb. So, all his offers are based off body size but he’s so far from a sure thing as a TE.

41 Texas Tech Big 12 $110,154,695 $104,778,443 They only made 5+ mil in revenue in ‘24 so yes the collective will need to raise the money just to get to the 20.5 allowed per rev sharing.

AUSTIN, Texas — Virginia transfer infielder Eric Becker, who led the Cavaliers in batting average (.368), runs scored (54) and RBI (52) this past season, is wrapping up a visit to Texas, a source told Horns247 on Sunday.
Becker, who will be a junior this fall, entered the transfer portal last week with a "do not contact" tag.
This past season, Becker batted .368 with nine home runs while also leading Virginia in slugging percentage (.617), doubles (21), total bases (124) and multi-RBI games (13). Becker had a fielding percentage of .920 with 15 errors.
Becker started all 50 games at shortstop for the Cavaliers, who finished sixth in the ACC at 32-18 and 16-11 in league play.A member of the All-ACC Freshman team in 2024, Becker batted .362 with nine doubles, eight home runs and 46 RBI while appearing in 45 games with 39 starts (26 at third base and 13 at shortstop) for UVA. As a freshman, Becker had a fielding percentage of .925 with 10 errors.
Becker's father, Jeff, was an infielder at Duke who spent some time in the Cleveland Guardians organization.
Texas baseball last week received a commitment from Wichita State senior transfer infielder Josh Livingston, who played first base for the Shockers in 2025 while batting .284 with 15 home runs and 48 RBI. Livingston had a .990 fielding percentage with three errors last season. In two seasons at Wichita State, Livingston hit 26 home runs and proved to be one of the better power hitters in the American Athletic Conference.
Livingston is the likely replacement for the Longhorns' departing senior first baseman Kimble Schuessler, who batted .312 with eight home runs and 45 RBI this past season with a fielding percentage of .994 (three errors).Do not contact had me thinking he’s going to miss st

There are a lot of guys this year in Texas who are fast (well under 11 in the 100M) and outside the top 20 recruits in state:
The short fast guys are:
Legend Bey 5'10", Davion Peters 5'11", Ryelan Morris 5'9", Caleb Smith 5'8", Corbin Glasco 5'9", Xavier Green 5'9", Brayden Robinson 5'8", Jermaine Bishop 5'11" (may not be sub 11 100M)
The 6' over guys are:
Xavier Warren 6', London Smith 6', Jayden Warren 6'2", Chase Campbell 6'1", Ethan Feaster 6', Chris Stewart 6' (may not be sub 11 100M), Kohen Brown 6'
Stewart ran 11.1 as a sophomore he’s def under 11 now. He also ran 21.59 this season in the 200.

But for ncaa nil, it’s not pay for play or in that case pay for commitment. You still can’t pay them to play for your team, without being in violation.
Obviously they are saying you have to do this/that once you join the team. Well you are no longer going to this school you can’t go to this charity function or whatever it is. They are no longer holding up there end of the deal.

Texas isn’t. What a little fucking bitch. Also, for the record what he is accusing is fucking illegal.
Nope there are states that allow recruits who are committed to start receiving compensation without the loss of eligibility

This guy was St. John’s 6th man.

This is the kid who got benched during the tournament by pitino right?
-
He also misjudged a home run and jogged out of the batters box only to be thrown out at 2nd base. Good thing depth perception isn’t high priority for a safety.

Anyone that saw the injury care to estimate on a scale of 1 to Completely Borked?
They were talking about the rash of injuries the Texas lineup has taken this year. Not that this specific injury to Jonah was dire.

Ran 11.47/100m as a sophomore didn’t run track after that. His brother won district mvp as a sophomore so that would’ve been when Emmett was a senior.
