Think the regression in the OL is also a big key to why they can’t do anything. I wonder how much of their prominence was due to Riley’s offense because they’ve looked awful this year.
I don’t think Venables is the answer to their woes, but that roster is pretty thin at key positions. QB was essentially one person only and their secondary is a joke without Bowman (and even with him).
glad that OU finally fucked up on a HC hire.

Milroe may in fact just be really stupid.
No D1 QB should have snapped the ball that early with such a blatantly obvious DB blitz. Milroe is not going to make it next year on this team.

That midnight yell commercial belongs in hell

Glad we didn’t get Milroe - he blows as a true QB.

Wrong forum, delete thread, ban user, etc

Please OU, give Venables time to “build a program.”

The right side of the line was halfway to the left before the ball was snapped

Is there any analysis on the game or injury updates? Seems a weird week with the lack of either for either teams outside of bits and pieces.

Why do we never get the call when we get slammed to the ground well after the whistle?
Great question. Fuck the Big XII

Brando and Tillman crying about the reffing. Can’t wait to leave Fox and these trash announcers for good.

I'm watching and hoping they hang on, but I've seen this movie way too many times in my life.
They made that way too close for comfort, but pulled it out.

Fuck both these announcers
thats not a tough call to make

I know I’m the only one watching, but UTEP went from 2nd and 30 to scoring a TD in two plays then scoop and scoring for a TD to break open a 24-7 lead.
this would be their first win the in the eastern time zone ever, which is kind of mind blowing.

That is not what you said.
Who gives a shit what I originally said - if he wins today, this will be the first time he’s beaten a P5 team as a starter or coming in for a starter that was injured. That’s an abysmal record considering he’s had 6 opportunities.

KJ Jefferson isn’t great when he isn’t a running threat.

He has only played against 2, both on the road against teams that hate Texas more than they like their own team.
Even in games he’s taken over or played in, he has one win against a P5 team (last year versus Tech). That’s not great.

Card has yet to beat a P5 team as a starter. Let’s hope it changes today, but that is an incredible stat.

For a fun/morbid Friday, this site is always fascinating. I’d be fucked as my wife didn’t agree on getting the house in Buenavista.

This annexation thing seems real, real bad to me. Not only can Russia not "give them back", but their line is going to shift to "Ukraine is literally attacking Russian territory with Western weapons and Western encouragement".
Ukraine has already hit assets in Crimea with western weapons.

Would a preemptive strike by Polish forces into Belarus be frowned upon by the international community?
I think there would be some hand wringing and maybe a sternly worded letter. But I think most of NATO would be okay with it if Belarus is massing troops at the border.
That would essentially lead to NATO vs Russia which no one wants. For all intents and purposes, Belarus is Russia.

Kansas didn't need a Quinn Ewers or Xavier Worthy to hang 42 on WVU in regulation. On the road. Why do we "need" these guys to win again?
If the answer to not being a 6-6 is "we need a generational talent to stay healthy and live up to every point of his recruiting rating, and also need him to be surrounded by dominant talent at WR" then what the fuck would Sark say he does here besides recruit?
Uh, the reason why Kansas is able to do so well this year is that their QB is definitely balling. Obviously, some of that is coaching, but think it just reinforces that QB play is what dominates how a team does.

Tyrin has been great at pulling the top off the defense. Isn’t Neylor coming back to help take some of the burden off of Worthy on that, though?
