  1. Strom: the injury to Garcia necessitated a mechanical change. We looked at why is his knee bothering him . So we worked on his back foot and he’s throwing 97/98. Without the injury he’s still 92-93

So he changed his mechanics because his knee got hurt and is now fucking dominant. This is like Rookie of the Year

  2. You've watched Toro play in 25, 33, and 35 games total and it's highly unlikely you've actually watched him play every one of those games.
Do you realize how miniscule a sample size that is for judging a major leaguer? Do you remember how long it took Bregman to figure it out?

Sure I remember. Bregman was also a 1-2 pick, was far more productive in a the minors, and ended up hitting 264 in 49 games even after his awful start. So Toro is hitting 193 over 93 games. I have watched most of those games but I agree it is a small sample size. It is possible he develops into a legitimate player, but it my untrained eye, I don’t see it. I am also confident that he has a noodle arm and is a below average fielding 3rd baseman after watching him play a number of games.
  3. One of the few things I learned in law school is NEVER put stuff in writing. Someone had to sanction this and someone had to approve its release. It’s one thing for fans on a football forum to fling shit at the SEC and beat their chest…when the school does it…there are ramifications. They will be in the Hate Pod. Not sure what else the SEC has planned. The NCAA is a non-entity now. JMO as always.

They have to put these things in writing to comply with the open meetings act. It would be a crime not to.

  4. It’s actually to see if they have enough money to remove the SEC logo off of literally every little thing associated with their pathetic university.  Sadly, the answer is no.

Unfortunately they spent that money buying antimicrobial turf because of all the horse shit the “Calvary” leaves behind.
  5. aggy just keeps pissing in the punchbowl.....campaigning to the other sec members....non-stop:
Guys, you just don't get it. Yes, t-sips are as arrogant as Tide fans with more money. But that's not the problem. t.u. is very, very good at getting conferences to adopt bylaws that appear to benefit everyone, but in the long run turn out to benefit the sips more. They operate in the boardrooms, behind the scenes. They're especially effective when their teams stink, because nobody views them as a threat then. Do you think it's a coincidence that Nebraska rapidly faded from national prominence after the formation of the Big 12? Hardly. Look into the rules changes on partial qualifiers the t-sips championed. That's the way they operate.

The difference to me is for Aggies the SEC was always the dream, the fantasy, the goal worth all the hassle to get to. When everyone told us that we would get our shite kicked in and it was a bad idea we didn't care, we wanted to be SEC members. We powered through and they took our licks with crazy shite like far away "rivalry" games while we built ourselves up. We never complained about what the SEC front office did unlike some folks.

Texas is settling for the SEC. Their network didn't work out and OU doesn't want to go West and so they are working out a marriage of convenience. They have no appreciation of what the invite means, they haven't been humbled into being a good team player. So they will take it for granted and act like its their birthright from day one. The trouble will come soon after.

I hope yall can look back and say us Aggies were better than that, and during this time we actually made the league better. Maybe not, but that is the difference from my perspective.

The way they talk about us is creepily similar to the way Hitler talked about Jewish people.

  6. I can’t read this whole thread. Was he going to standard Houston Rub and Tugs? If they have credit card receipts of him going to known places, then it doesn’t look good.

If he was just going to rub and tugs he wouldn’t be in this predicament.

  7.  Others on Instagram, which I can't figure out how to embed.
I forgot to add to the ledger above:
Prior to last week we thought Watson was a good dude. Also prior to last week, we knew the Texans to be inept and Buzbee to be increasingly erratic for the last five years. He has been a loose cannon since his divorce and I'd be willing to bet we only know about 25 percent of what he's been up to.

A personal injury lawyer says “it isn’t about the money” and you take that on face value to mean he doesn’t want money?
