LOL, the truth hurts sometimes little man. So, I should go to a site where PC doesn't dictate what you can say? You may be right about that. This site gets to be an ass whippen with all of that. Just remember, you might be able to shut people up, but you can't make them disappear.
Shut the fuck up. Snowflakes do disappear.

The wanker is an asshole but he's right about this. The calamity of errors and fuckups here looks terrible.
This is better than firing a coach mid season, conducting a public search, getting turned down publicly, and then proceeding to chase after plan Bs and securing them raises while ending up with some other dipshit who doesn't have what it takes to run a program like Texas. Charlie Strong was a fuckup. Getting turned down by Cumbie and then begging Sterlin Gilbert to take a job in the middle of the night in his driveway is a bad look. Shooting your shot in private and allegedly getting turned down looks wonderful in comparison.

So to recap... the guys we’re all highly trusting & believing in as the most valuable sources are named Ceddy B, RapGameLarry, and a squid that speaks only in emojis.
We've reached peak 2020.

Cater to fanbase, and say Urban is going/not going. Regardless of what happens, you win new follows. If you're right, people assume you have inside access. If wrong, you just say Texas upped the offer or the family vetoed at last minute and avoid accountability.

Shanahan’s former teammates aren’t surprised at his rise, reaching the Super Bowl at just 40 and in his third year with the 49ers. They saw signs of it even in college, when Shanahan was a seldom-used wide receiver from 2000-02, the early years of Mack Brown’s tenure. Shanahan caught only 14 passes for 127 yards during his career but made lasting relationships. He was part of a brotherhood that he and his teammates called “The Wood.”
. . .
Scaife, Babers and Shanahan have a special bond. The three, along with former Longhorns wide receiver Montrell Flowers and quarterback Chris Simms — Shanahan’s best friend — made up “The Wood.” Johnson and former defensive back and current UT defensive analyst Nathan “Nasty Nate” Vasher are considered unofficial members.
The name is based off a 1999 romantic comedy starring Omar Epps, Taye Diggs and Richard T. Jones in which three childhood friends flash back to the forging of their bond as teenagers ahead of one of their weddings. Scaife is credited for coming up with it. The five had nicknames, too: Bo-Skeeze (Scaife), Rod-B (Babers), Shan-O (Shanahan), Trill (Flowers) and … Simms.
In 2002, the group got tattoos solidifying their bond. Shanahan and Simms, somewhat infamously, have ink commemorating each other’s initials on their lower legs.
“We were brothers for life,” Babers said of that night.
. . .
Shanahan’s loyalty also hasn’t gone unnoticed by his old UT teammates. When Johnson was cut by the Broncos in 2005, Shanahan lobbied for him to sign with the Buccaneers in ‘06. Richard Hightower, Johnson’s roommate for three years who earned a scholarship after originally walking on, currently serves as San Francisco’s special teams coordinator. In fact, Hightower, whom Longhorns teammates called “Peanut,” previously worked with Shanahan in Houston, Washington and Cleveland.
I think he does have a fondness for his time at the University. I don't think he's in play because he's a football guy through and through and the college game limits that. But it's nice to think about what he could do.

What is the appeal with Shanahan? Not trying to flame. NFL guy, losing NFL record, no recruiting ties. Ties to Texas but we had the same ties with Herman.Played at Texas, has longhorn tattooed on his leg. Beats the shit out of Belichick. Led team to Superbowl. Innovative offense.

I wanted them to go for two when they scored to make it 31-23. If you make it, you win with a TD and a PAT. If you don't, you can force OT with a TD and a successful 2.
Thank you for your service. This is the right move.

You Longhorns have become GD aggy. That was a hold in any game.
I’m rooting for you guys, but you’re becoming nuts with this conspiracy theory.
Peace out. Your board is insufferable on game days. I’ll go back to boring ass Orange Power.
Ok cool. Hook em.

That wasn't targeting. The ballcarrier was still moving forward.
Nah, it's textbook. He was defenseless because he was in the grasp of another defender.
QuoteNo player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent (See Note 2 below) with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul (Rules 2-27-14 and 9-6). (A.R. 9-1-4-I-VI)
Note 1: "Targeting" means that a player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact that goes beyond making a legal tackle or a legal block or playing the ball. Some indicators of targeting include but are not limited to:
- Launch—a player leaving his feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area
- A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground
- Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area
- Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet
QuoteNote 2: Defenseless player (Rule 2-27-14):
- A player in the act of or just after throwing a pass.
- A receiver attempting to catch a forward pass or in position to receive a backward pass, or one who has completed a catch and has not had time to protect himself or has not clearly become a ball carrier.
- A kicker in the act of or just after kicking a ball, or during the kick or the return.
- A kick returner attempting to catch or recover a kick, or one who has completed a catch or recovery and has not had time to protect himself or has not clearly become a ball carrier.
- A player on the ground.
- A player obviously out of the play.
- A player who receives a blind-side block.
- A ball carrier already in the grasp of an opponent and whose forward progress has been stopped.
- A quarterback any time after a change of possession.
- A ball carrier who has obviously given himself up and is sliding feet-first

The replay center in Dallas only reviews against Texas, apparently. I get the on field refs missing it, but the replay center is supposed to catch that shit.

He was WR coach for A&M. Just need to add one of those bullshit titles so he can get paid more.

Defense looked good. The offense was scary. The refs can eat a bag of dicks and live in Kansas the rest of their fucking shit lives.
