  1. Doug's never been an Amare fan. Goes back to when we traded for him.
  2. Judge Ito with the TD! Good for that journeyman but feel like Clement deserved to get it.
  3. My Philly buddy is having a meltdown in group chat with the Cowboys playing the offensive starters until Dak got his TD. LOL! Pussy.
  4. Gallup's missed in he can play outside. Wilson is a natural slot and slot is CeeDee's best position so there is an issue. Noah Brown is a decent WR5 but don't think he'll be anymore than that. If Gallup goes, then Hooker has looked decent and you draft someone and try and develop them.
  5. I wouldn't unless he comes cheap and gives a small discount. He was really good last week. This week..... meh.
  6. I think he would have started for us. Now, I don't think so and we'll be forced to go with some jag with experience. Neal hasn't been all the good and LVE is up and down, but may get a richer deal then we should re-sign him at. If Cox has a really good TC whereby they can count on him for snaps, then eventually I do think he'll start. Our kick return game is so fucking terrible....... We either commit a penalty or get blown up behind the 20.
  7. Wilson should be pretty easy to re-sign. Gallup will be interesting with his injury, also does he want to come back as the #3. I think we'll re-sign Schultz but with his blocking issues, I may let him walk if he gets like a 3/40m offer with 26-27m guaranteed. I'd roll with Jarwin, sign a TE2 and draft another TE in the mid-rounds.
  8. We still need so much on defense. Another LB or two. I'm not wild about our safeties and definitely need another viable CB and a big 1 tech.
  9. Our DE's sans DLaw really have a difficult time setting the edge, especially Barsham and Gholston. They're terrible at keeping outside leverage.
  10. Shank! Nice...... we can get in Greg's range.... which is like 1-30 and 45-55.
  11. Yes. And both should have been TDs if Amare didn't jump for some reason..... Do you want TDs or to bitch about shit?
  12. Ground has caught 13 balls and 3 TDs this half alone so I guess the ground is having a good day. Sheesh.
  13. Nice that the defense decided to take the night off. Getting crushed by the 2's from Philly.
  14. Why? And I'd trade Fox in a minute. Fox is the classic inefficient small guard who can score in exciting ways but is a liability on defense and not good enough of a creator to justify his contract unless he really changes his game or becomes a better shooter. Halliburton is on a cheaper contract and really young but he hasn't shown to be anything crazy special, but it's very early. I'd probably want to keep the better shooter and that's Halliburton.
  15. We're still in 10th place in the West. As bad as we've been lately, the bottom teams continue to be worse. We really need to up our tanking game!
  16. This is a really tough situation. Two young and talented guys, who are "me" guys and therefore can't really breakthrough that ceiling into number 1. I doubt Jaylon Brown ever can, but he still does a few things better than Tatum, like shoot, but that's really all he does better, therefore, I may seek to unload Brown, sort of blow it up and figure out an identity. I'm also wary of Stevens as an executive and this will be a pretty stern test. I don't have a ton of context on them or how Udoka is dealing with all of this, but it looks bad..... really bad.
  17. This cannot be emphasized enough. They proven to be bitches their entire careers.
  18. I think he's in the peripheral discussion and seen and read some things with his name in it, but statistically and from the eye test, he's just so clearly in the 2nd or 3rd tier that narrative alone would be difficult to carry him to one. Top 10 though... I do think he's in there somewhere. He'd have to sustain or get a little better and have the rest of the competitors get injured and do a nosedive, which is possible, but not probable.
  19. I tend to agree thus far...... But again, we have half a season to go......
  20. Technically, Draymond did most of the recruiting. Steph was an integral part, but Draymond was the most vocal and foremost on getting KD to really consider the W's. And I think Curry is the best culture builder and torch bearer for an organization since Tim Duncan, so it's not surprising that folks would come to this conclusion. Lebron has had some wins on the player personnel front and also some losses. I think where some, including myself, get frustrated with him, is he generally shirks accountability and responsibility for the losses. Lebron's not a terrible person, IMO, but he's definitely spoiled and entitled and does some petty ass shit. Regardless, with the Lakers hovering around .500, I don't think there a huge appetite to drive a MVP campaign for him. I also don't think it's unfair to point out that individually, he's still playing at an elite level, which is sort of mind blowing. Yes, I think we all understand you're in the tank for KD. And sometimes, being the old man, can definitely be of benefit for the narrative. Time to give him one as a career achievement award or last time he may really challenge for it type of thing. I think KD's definitely in the discussion and rightly so considering the Kyrie situation but he has to sustain the play and it wouldn't hurt if he could even get a little better. Statistically, this isn't one of his most efficient years, but as a leader and defensively, it could bear out as one of his finest. Should be a good 2nd half if the NBA can clear COVID fucking up everything by the ASB.
  21. I think this is what happened. Steph started the season on fire, he's regressed to the norm a little and maybe a little below averages for a bit. Sample sizes are needed. He looked like a MVP player the first 5-6 weeks, he hasn't the last 5-6 weeks. He's still a great player, but if the season ended today, no, Steph isn't nor should he be one the top names for MVP, at least statistically. Jokic, Freak, Butler, KD, and then you have gaggle of other guys like Steph, Lebron, Embiid, etc. But we also know that the MVP voting is based on narratives and expectations. The Warriors are outpacing expectations, the Lakers are underperforming. The rest of the guys are probably leading their teams to expected consequences relative considering injuries, COVID, flat-earthers, etc. Overall, what it does, is set up a really intriguing back half of the season where probably 5-6 guys could make legitimate charges for MVP including Steph and maybe Lebron if the Lakers went crazy in the 2nd half (something I don't expect). Freak has won, Jokic has won, Steph has won, KD has won respective MVPs so there's not that fresh face either unless you want to consider Jimmy B, but he's probably been hurt too much.
  22. That's not really a thing..... Pollard has a bad wheel and can't play a whole game. We fucked around and didn't backfill the position. Elliott has to take some snaps and touches and he's still our best blocker as Pollard is pretty piss poor in pass pro. Poorly managed position and before folks start..... Zeke is 95% going to be here next year too.
  23. Primo has some funny stats in a SSS. Shooting better from 3 than the field overall. Played over 100 minutes.... 0 FT's. That's hard for a gunner.
