  1. What happens if Oregon beats Washington in a close game but Bo Nix goes down with a season ending injury. Would THAT make Texas more appealing to the dipshits who are running this clown show?
  2. Wake me when we hire a real coaching staff. Until then, I've got paint to watch dry.
  3. Did we ever seriously recruit Aydin Breland from Mater Dei or was he just not interested in Texas?
  4. I have some friends that are leaving Colorado and moving to Montana. It's beautiful there but, damn, the winters are rough. The winters in Colorado aren't bad at all...definitely not what I was expecting when I moved here. I moved here to escape the heat and haven't returned since. The hottest it gets where I live is 80 degrees and I bitch about THAT heat. Lol!!! A lot of the resort towns are now putting restrictions on short term leasing your house, which isn't doing anybody any damn good because the locals can't afford the houses anymore. I live in Evergreen and you can still get houses for semi-reasonable prices. From here you have access to Denver (35 minutes away) or skiing/snowboarding (35 minutes away). Conifer is also a pretty good option as you can get more for your money, have easy access to Denver and ski resorts, and it is beautiful with easy winters.
  5. I folded my law firm and moved my family to the top of a mountain in Colorado many years ago...from Houston. It was the greatest decision I ever made. The people are generally laid back; however, the influx of people moving here definitely gets the locals unruly because the price of real estate is getting too high and the hiking trails are getting crowded. My closest neighbor is from Dallas and the first thing we both did when we moved here was get Colorado license plates. My wife and I both got real estate licenses to make some extra retirement money and I make more money now than I did practicing law for 24 years...and most of my clients are from out of state. Back to the point: the people here are actually really cool and laid back but they want to keep the state's vibe like that, which is getting increasingly harder to do.
  6. This sucks...I was really hoping to see McKinley and Simmons line up next to each other. Oh well. We better not whiff on Black though because he is an elite athlete.
  7. I may have to take myself outside and kick my own ass for contributing.
  8. I hope he commits soon...he would solidify our Muenster recruiting class.
  9. Hahahahahahahaha. That is fucking hilarious. How do you screw up a visit THAT bad?
  10. I worked for one of the big Houston firms 20+ years ago. I got fired because my wife went into labor with our first son and I wanted to be at the hospital with her. She was in labor from Friday until Monday with complications. Monday morning I was told that I wasn't at my desk in an hour, don't bother coming back. Yeah, that soured me on working for ANY big firms ever again. I moved to Colorado and opened my own firm...I'm a pretty fun boss to work for and, quite frankly, the only one I would ever work for again. I've never even fired myself for taking off to go snowboarding during the week.
  11. Honestly, when is enough going to be enough? He is the defensive version of Greg Davis...just limits the ceiling of the team.
  12. The Texas hat looks to be the only one "different" than the others, which are all the same style and brand...they are probably from the bargain bin.
  13. I live at the top of a mountain in Colorado and I will take -20 degrees with 8' of snow over the Texas heat any day of the week. I haven't been back to Texas since I left because the heat would kill me now. I remember when I moved back to Texas after living in San Diego, CA for 6 years...it was friggin painful.
  14. Please let it be Hill. The Aggy fallout would be entertainment for the rest of the year.
