Agreed. They won’t fire him. It will be just another program we laugh about and loathe. It won’t matter though, the wins and money will keep coming. It will be forgotten eventually. It might take awhile to go away, just like a black eye or a cut on the hand...

sad but true.  they will make him sit 3 games against little mothers of the poor university and call it a day.  As a Michigan fan ive always known that OSU is a POS university now its just been confirmed.

My brother did that with my Washburn acoustic I own. It was like $450 used and he was like it’s yours. I had the same feeling. He’s my older brother and that’s the nicest thing he’s ever done for me. Still haven’t even found a higher end acoustic that plays and feels as good as that one.

    Probably never will.

A new hummingbird felt pretty awesome though😳

I got that guitar in high school sometime in '93. My family went into the Guitar Center on Westheimer in Houston and out of the blue dad asked which of the guitars was my favorite. Without hesitation I pointed at the Flying V. It was $1700, but it might as well have been $17,000,000. It was just my favorite, not anything I even contemplated owning, our family didn't have $1700 guitar money. Dad walked over to the salesman and after a few minutes the guy drags the ladder over, climbs up, and brings the most beautiful glossy midnight black Flying V down and my heart started doing backflips. Dad looks at me and says, "You better play it. A lot."

I might have started breakdancing right there in the middle of the store.

Dad had never done anything like that before and hasn't done anything like that since, for me or himself. I found out later the guitar wasn't paid off for several years after. It was a strain for him for some time, though he never let me know that.

I don't sell things. I like to collect things or I might just be a run-of-the-mill hoarder. Who knows. What I do know is I'm not selling that guitar. Not THAT guitar.

what you are learning is that there probably aren't any universities, ours included, that are likely to fire a coach who goes 73-8 on a knee jerk

This is why I’ve maintained from the beginning that they aren’t going to fire him. He’s 73-8 and that’s all the state of Ohio cares about which is really sad.

I've been very critical of this asswipe, but he's looking better than ever.  I hope he stays clean.

So with Georgia making it to the championship game last season, has UM taken over the UGA spot as the perennial top 10-15 team that will always underperform expectations?

they have for the last 10 years. im a Michigan fan and they are always ranked pre-season

I might have to sell off some gear to pay for new puppy's medical expenses. Grrr...

    Already $2500 in before surgery.

If I do, I'll post and offer the standard Surly discount.

    Good luck to the dog!
