The 2003 Rice Owls won on the strength of three great startng pitchers and a star closer.  David Pierce was not the pitching coach.  So yeah, make of that what you will.

I still own wade Townsend in my Dynasty league hoping one day he puts it together.

this prompt is a bit of a brain twister, butch...if you said put out an album that was good and you listen to, it might be achievable but since there are so few "great albums" out there, I'm not sure how that works in your mind.

    hmm.

I think the thought exercise comes from a place where you listened to bands and they started to suck and you say to yourself "I only listen their old shit now" and you are mentally over them and accept they are never the same band.  Then they hit on a album out of the blue and you absolutely are floored about the resurgence.

Bon jovi kind of did this during their "It's my life" era.

We rarely eat at a restaurant twice on a trip. We ate twice at Ken’s.

One caveat,  if you can't get on the back patio, it is not the same experience if you are indoors.

    Forgot to add The Hudson.

  4. They have plenty of shuttles to different view points at GC at south rim. Expect it to be really busy.

Park downtown flag and walk to the multiple breweries.  Cornish Pasty has a lot of Vegan options. Sedona I can't tell you too much about vegan but do book Elote if you can. Check for reservations today.  Creekside and hideaway house have great shady views. Dahl and DeLuca is good. Sedona brewing company has real nice patio views as well.

He’s like a younger Tyreek Hill. Go get some young man! Future NFL “playmaker” right there.

    Hook’em!!!

I first thought of Jakeem Grant. Not sure if an apt comparison or not... just the first guy that came to me.

  6. I was jamming (poorly) with a friend and playing For Whom the Bell Tolls, laughing at how bad modern Metallica is. Then the conversation changed to great albums from bands past their prime. I had a really hard time coming up with many. I really like The Division Bell but not sure if that is "great".

    I've seen this movie before.

You are going to be murdered.

Either in the shower in anticipation or during the act itself.

That is the only explanation I can come up with here.

Better get some eyes on your 6, brah.

Dude she does have the crazy eyes. You might be onto something.

Wife? She isn't giving you a BJ regardless.

If I spent all day in mikvah, then got baptized in holy water blessed by Jesus himself, and finally ritualistically performed wudu with the tears of an angel; I would have a better chance of winning the Powerball than receiving oral sex from my wife.

And just a reminder, 1000% of 0 is still 0.

Man I just don't know what to tell you guys. Keep pushing for them. I'm sure you have done your part by going down on them more than enough times to justify the occasional BJ.

I guess I'll just keep taking night showers and getting blow jobs every once in a while.

I don't know about that. Showering in the morning makes it a fresh day. Showering at night makes it a funkified day. ... I always had a household rule of showing once a day. Didn't give a shit when it was with the kiddos

No way I can go to bed without a shower. And I work from home so I'm good without a morning shower

I shower at night because it increases me having sex with my wife by 1000%. She isn't giving me a BJ after a long day in my underwear.

  10. My Sam ash is about a minute away from my house. Been going for 14 years I've lived in the neighborhood. About a week ago I asked one of the employees why the wall was looking a little thin and he made a comment about not taking on trades because they were consolidating and Phoenix was getting new inventory from the closing locations. Oops...wonder if he knew or that was the line given.

I have gotten to know many of them over the years.... lot of turnover but a few that have stood the test of time. The service guitar tech is/ was Brent Gutierrez.  Used to make or maybe still does make his Gutierrez guitars. Good dude.

Honestly, that's awesome. Dude has been a stand-out in the 2023 and 2024 spring games. If he can get an FBS scholarship, then that says a lot about the health of our program.

Was he the guy that was ivy league and academy worthy?

Nevermind... saw the blurb above that George Costanza couldn't see.

For street food, we had good luck going to places with a crowd.

Recommending seafood is tough because there are a million options. I'd recommend looking for places close to where you will be, instead of traveling long distances to the restaurant.

Tokyo to Mt Fuji and back to Tokyo, assuming you are not climbing, is doable in one day. It'll be a long day but it's possible.

You can also stop at Mt Fuji on the way to Kyoto/Osaka and then continue to Kyoto/Osaka. You won't have to backtrack with that plan.

If you want to spend the night in the Mt Fuji area, I highly recommend staying at a hot springs inn (onsen) in the Hakone area. The area is beautiful (as you were told), the hot springs and inns are cool and it's a great detour. Seeing Mt Fuji is nice but the Hakone area was much more fun and enjoyable for us.

  13. Hey cool. Didn't know this thread existed.  I recently started to incorporate the Norwegian 4x4 protocol into my workouts once a week for max VO2. The subsequent workouts following this have been excellent. I don't know if there is a direct correlation but these last week or two of workouts have been the best in years for me.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if schools quietly asked the NCAA to reign in the photo shoots. Schools fucking hate them. Takes forever and all that time would be better spent getting to know the recruit and showing him around.

I'm with you on the cookie cakes, though. Don't see why anyone would give a fuck. Maybe some schools were decorating hotel rooms with hookers and blow.

Heard with the photo shoots that it isn't just a single player that just wants in. It could be an entire 7 on 7 team touring the area and all their families. It gets ridiculous.
