They will have some AC, but I think the temperature they have to maintain is 85. But yes, hurricanes are going to be a major risk.

From what I have read big planes can get in, but one at a time. One road in and out?

I'm assuming this is it (below).  IIRC this was started in the 60s or 70s, and like the half-finished canal that cut across the state it was cancelled due to concerns about the environment.  It was supposed to be one of the biggest airports in the country, eventually. Halfway between Naples and Miami on US41.

I'm here for when Karma strikes. It's only a matter of time when one of the maga pieces of shit gets killed by a gator.

You posit this opinion with the certainty of Republican men who hate, I mean really HATE gays . . . and then get busted by their Grindr accounts.

I'm in the Murican paradox.  At this point I wouldn't mind getting deported but after four or five generations of Texans I doubt the Germans would take me back.

Yes, but cynically many of the worst provisions don’t take place until after the midterms. So the idiots will blame the Dems when they retake both chambers and all rural hospitals close

I didn't say anything about elections 😁 Just that the rubes will be hurting. Why?

I know that somehow, someway this will cost me some money, BUT . . .

It's going hurt the rubes that voted for him much, much more.  Pain is the only way to either break the fever or get those millions and millions of people who cant be bothered to vote to get off their asses and vote.

There are (were?) plans to build a gas power plant here in Sugar Land city limits, by the airport. I have been aware of petitions that have been going around, and the issue came up in the local mayoral and city council elections last month. The anointed candidate ended up losing the mayoral race to some current council member known locally as "Ms. No" who literally is against everything. I went along with the fervor even though I reflexively dislike NIMBYism and have been telling people I know that this is a problem at the state, and now federal level, and not a local issue.

Is this her?  I can see her saying "no" to everything.
