I had some personal experience with this... My dad was a dick to my wife before we got married. Saying she had loose morals for fucking ME before we got married. Wife (fiancée at the time) even flew 14 hours to see him and get his blessing, he skipped town so he wouldn't have to see us.
My mom, relatives and friends all called him out, and he eventually came around. By the time of the wedding he was in a better place, and actually really likes my wife now. But my wife is still a bit bitter about what happened and it still comes up once in a while.

Sounds like your old man should have gotten laid more

7/9l14 tri box.   Don’t love EQ to win at his price but think he’s in the money somewhere.  15 could be all or nothing and have bet accordinglyÂ

Once I had a little girl as pretty
As I have known
Lord, you know I loved he so and then she
Left me all alone
And I swore here on this barstool
I'd never make that mistake again
Well you ain't so fine but you're all mine
And I'll love you till the end -

Goddammit. Prompted by my thoughts and post last night, I just played Kilkelly, Ireland, start to finish. And I'm missing the hell out of my daughter. She's been going through a lot this past week, feeling isolated, and we've felt so helpless, because no matter what happens, we literally cannot go see her, could not go help her in any way (across a border, pandemic restrictions are strict).
And I listen to these lyrics.
Goddammit. That's all we are. That's all we want. Each other. Time. Visits. He called for you in the end.
Motherfucking shit.
Our daughters sound similar from what I have seen through your posts. (My daughter is in grad school at PennSt— independent , determined but a stress monster...she has been an exchange student and has already seen twice as much of the world as I have)My sister in law passed away this weekend , luckily my daughter was able to get home .  I Sucks y’all can’t be together. I sincerely hope everything works out for her, sure it will..sounds like you raised her right   Â
ÂThanks to everyone that posted these great songs   Great thread for me right now

That happens everywhere when you win a national championship. Billy Pittman was a good guy but a completely average receiver but he's remembered very fondly as a player.Â
Yeah because that motherfucker helped win a national championship. I will forever love me some Pittman  Â

Big fan of Phoenix in the winter. You can find plenty  of hiking trailsandlakes  within an hour of the city.  Bunch of casinos If your into that.  Grand Canyon/ Sedona is a great trip for a couple of nights if possible   Lookup the afternoon hikes if you have stuff going on the morningÂ

For me, the 2001 Big 12 Championship game was just as big a kick in the nuts as UCLA 97 or the OU blowouts.  I was certain we were going to curbstomp CU. I was also drunk as fuck and have never put on a worse display of behavior at a game. I still wish I could apologize to anyone with kids sitting near me for that one.
Brother? My wife almost divorced me after that game

I’m against forms of foods that substitute lard, grease and salt for actual flavor and taste. It’s lazy and that’s not even going into the health consequences of forming a diet around that kind of food.ÂI might die before you but I will die happy

Maybe I’m missing the sarcasm with these replies (or overly stating the obvious?), but I thought the point of @Teddyballgame’s post was not Christmas decorations going up early, but rather Thanksgiving decorations coming down before the holiday even occurred. Truly remarkable, the female brain is...
Yes this what caught me off guard.  My wife probably like every other wife has many storage bins for all of her holiday decorations..normal procedure is wait until after holiday and rinse and repeat.  She jumped the gun this year.  The one exception is tree will stay up until February if I don’t say anything.  Over under is feb 4 for tree coming down

"Don't dig in against Bob Gibson; he'll knock you down," Aaron said, according to The Boston Globe. "He'd knock down his own grandmother if she dared to challenge him. Don't stare at him, don't smile at him, don't talk to him. He doesn't like it. If you happen to hit a home run, don't run too slow, don't run too fast. If you happen to want to celebrate, get in the tunnel first. And if he hits you, don't charge the mound, because he's a Gold Glove boxer."

November 20, 1978....Oilers vsDolphins.  Monday night football.  I was 8 years old, at this I probably didn’t even know about college football.  My parents never went to college.  My dad loved football and so did I.  The Oilers were our team.  My old man surprised me with Oilers tickets for my birthday that year.  (Must have been a huge financial sacrifice fir my parents).  So we go to this game and see the greatest Monday performance ever by Mr Campbell...Been a Longhorn ever since. The.most frustrating thing about these two losses is that we clearly had the better players.  Both games should have been out of reach by the second half, but we get cute and fuck around then go limp dick in secondhalf….  The players are certainly at fault, but the coaches are not making any changes that are working..I know as a manager,  I am 99%judged on their performance.  If they are not getting it done, I can only count on the dipshit hr recruiter to replace them in due time,  in the mean time I better get my hands dirty and make what I got better
