Maybe because they knew the defense would call her and they wanted to control the narrative as best as possible? That’s the only thing I can think of. Steal their thunder maybe

Maybe to prove up some documents as business records.

Right. Like when a whole lot of folks on here were predicting she was going to divorce Trump as soon as he left office.

    Not. Gonna. Happen.

What? You think THIS will be the final straw?

She knows damn well Trump cheats on her. She doesn’t care. The only thing that bothers her is that these trysts were made public. She responded by renegotiating her prenup. She’s a grifter and a gold digger. She’s not in it for love or honor or dignity or anything noble. She’s in it til the end. The only way she’d ever file for divorce is if Trump were left absolutely penniless with no properties or assets of any kind. She ain’t leaving him before the well has run dry.

She doesn't want to be his ex. She wants to be his widow.

I don't get the idea of forcing the election to the House as being a viable strategy. A third party candidate would have to actually win some states to prevent the R or D from getting a majority of electors. There is a zero chance of that happening. What am I missing?

According to MSNBC this morning, the moron sent out 77 "truth" social tweets yesterday.  Seventy-fucking-seven.

Apparently, number 77 was Jack Nicklaus "awarding" him his club championship trophy.  Jesus fucking Christ.

He's trying to tweet his age.

That’s crazy. Why did Texas decide to treat LLC interests differently?

I think it's a byproduct of the legislative treatment of LLCs as being something of a hybrid between corporations and partnerships, with features of each. Historically, the idea was that partners chose who their business associates would be and they stood in a fiduciary relationship to each other. The partnership interest could not be involuntarily transferred to a third party, e.g. a judgment creditor, because it would be unjust to force the other partners to accept a partner they had not chosen. The actual ownership interest could not be subject to forced transfer, but the profit stream could be diverted through a charging order.

side note/This KC Super Bowl OT win brought back, to my old ass, memory of the Dallas Texans/Oilers AFL Championship in 1962. Texans win, although the great Abner Haynes muffs the coin toss call for first OT. Great game. Will have to find it and watch  again.

I thought the NFL OT rules say that if the team first possessing the ball in OT scores a TD, it's game over, man.  Game over.

The rule for playoff games was changed a couple of years ago, ironically after the Chiefs beat the Bills in OT because they got the first possession and scored a TD to win.

  10. The ESMA Museum is a must. It has a full and candid exploration of the political turmoil of the 70s and the thousands of "disappeared", many of whom were tortured before their execution. Some of the bodies were tossed from planes into the river and some of those washed up on the Uruguayan shore.

Her criticisms are not of his conservatism. They're founded on her belief that he's a phony, a buffoon, and will hurt the far-right cause over the long term. In that, I think she's likely correct.

Trump will either cause lasting damage to the country or the Republican party. Maybe both.

I hate the word "analytics". It just isn't the proper word for this. In the context of sports, it's basic math. It's addition, subtraction, and division. It's just information that fills you in on tendencies. "When they are in this situation, they tend to do this".

It's information. That's it. The word "analytics" makes it seem like something more than it is. You're just taking information to make a more informed decision. To just blindly "go by the analytics" means you aren't really coaching, and really is just a cop out for bad coaching decisions. And that's all that was by Dan Campbell yesterday. Bad coaching decisions.

There are many more factors at play than just the expected conversion percentage. The overall game situation affects the usefulness of the "analytics". In the middle of the 3rd quarter Campbell had the chance to create a three score lead by taking a FG, which would have negated the 49ers FG on the opening drive of the 2nd half. That is a no brainer and his decision to go for it is indefensible. Period.

The "analytics" say to go for it on 4th and goal at the one yard line. But if there are 10 seconds left in a tie game is that the smart move?

Getting too caught up in being aggressive and a willingness to take risks got in the way of a proper coaching decision.
