My bet is that OSU beats UM by 2 TDs or more, and Michigan quietly goes away.
My bad. What I meant to day is that Michigan will steal quietly away.

Gold Jerry, gold.
1. Why is a "top professional leader" posting theoretical aspirational speeches on a football message board at 2:30 a.m.?
2. Talks about the need for leaders to be empathetic, then immediately pivots to insults (flipping burgers at McDonald's) and ad hominem attacks (calling those who responded brats and idiots).
3. Calls one guy out for a spelling gaffe (ackward rather than awkward), yet calls someone else a "simplton".
4. Objects to aggy being called weird, preferring "different". No, you're weird.

Texas needs to mudstomp tech in this scenario since it will be the only common opponent. There’s an argument to be made there along with a much better resume. Oregon has been “passing the eye test”. Yeah… Colorado and Utah aren’t what we thought they were in those early season games. They haven’t had a single good win on a ranked opponent.
This. This is why we need to destroy TT and give the committee an objective differentiator with Oregon.

We don't need to necessarily break it down by conference game as Big 12 officials have called every Texas game except Bama
But can we see how the Texas opponents' penalty stats compare with the other Big 12 teams in conference games?

Keep in mind...this includes the Bama game that was done by SEC officials.
So take 10 penalties off the total for us with Big 12 officals....
Good point. Is there a data base that breaks it down by conference game?

In the world of nonsensical hypotheticals, aggys always win nattys and never get vd from their sheep concubines.
Under the string multiverse theory in physics there are potentially an infinite number of parallel universes. In some versions of the theory the universes are different in their essence and follow different fundamental laws of physics. That means that it is theoretically possible that in some parallel universe aggy is winning championships.

You guys do realize that Michigan is in the middle of a controversy and their head coach can't be on the sidelines, right?
That's why Harbaugh's not there? I had heard he skipped the game to interview with aggy.

Given how big their Qanon thread got before Luigi nuked it, pretty sure quite a few TexAgs posters are flat earthers.
Most are flat dumbasses.

Pretty typical for cracker jack conference leadership. Big 12 has never figured out that H2H should trump all when it comes to tiebreakers (see: 2008 Texas/OU)
Captain Obvious here to point out that 2008 wasn't a 2- way tie. There were 3 teams tied and each was 1 and 1 against the others.

Did you ever see Rickey slide? That's not the recommended way for a qb to slide
Better than this.

I’m not trying to flex here. I didn’t exercise my right and it was stupid. My kids had off today, so went golfing and I was too tired.
I also went golfing. Walked all 18 holes. Then went straight from the course to the polling place.

For Texas to maximize our resume we need:
KU and KSU to be 9-3, so that means KSU beating KU to end the season.
OSU to be 10-2 going into the conference championship game.
Alabama to win the SEC.
OU to be at worst 9-3, so that our loss isn't considered bad.
Wyoming finishing 9-3 would also be a nice boost, they have a big game against UNLV this weekend.
Thanks for the primer. That helps. And I'm really glad to hear I can still root for OU to lose.

Penn State. Any loss will eliminate Michigan from further discussion due to the cheating scandal.
Follow up: and then UM to beat tOSU?

Somebody help me out because I'm too lazy and stupid to think it through. Who should be our rooting interest in the PSU/UM game this weekend? Please explain your answer in 25 words or less.

As a life long Cowboy fan it hurts me to say this. But the Cowboys are the NFL aggies. Pretending to be relevant. Achingly recalling championships from decades ago. Greatest "facilities". Massive and loyal fan base. Hiring a coach because he had won a Super Bowl with another team. Touting the talent level. Coming up "just a few inches short" in crucial moments.
Oh well, we'll be great next year.

Ewok should have gone to MLB. Could play a lot longer.
Maybe he did. Has anyone seen Murray and Altuve in the same room?

The missed PI on Worthy was the first WTF moment. That followed by the punt block completely shifted the momentum.
If the PI is called we are in FG range and probably use most of the remaining time in the half. Score at the half is 17-0 at the worst, and probably 20 or 24. It completely changed the course of the game.

Billy Sample, Jeff Burrough, Wayne Tolleson, John Matlack, Doc Medich, Rehabbed Doc Ellis formerly pitching on acid...LOL.
Let's not forget Lee Mazilli, who gave rise to one of the best local sports bon mots ever. He complained about playing left field rather than center after being traded to Texas. I think it was Randy Galloway who wrote "Lee Mazilli called left field an idiot's position -- and then went out and proved it."
