A/C pumping out 59 degree air. It's 72 in the house now. By 6 it will still be pumping out 59 degree air, but it will be 78. I need to build a heat shield on the west side to block the sun.
Dark tint west windows?

Parents that don't control their kids in a restaurant.
I watched a 2 YO making an absolute mess of the table, standing on the chair, hiding behind other people's chairs while the mom looked... at her phone. The last straw for the server was when the kid was doing yoga in the middle of an aisle, surrounded a pile of rice, watching a phone (apparently just for him, because mom has her own).
I think it's normal for little kids to make a mess, but the parents should be responsible for cleaning up their mess. My wife and I would always go under the table to pick up anything that may have dropped. Most parents would as well, but there have been plenty of times when the parents just pick up and leave with shit all over the tables and floors.
Just flew from Austin to Denver and 4 days later Denver to Austin.....
So this hits close to home

I collect wheat pennies. Does anyone else do this? I don’t know why. I started doing it years ago. In high school at the latest, maybe when I was in junior high. I’m not obsessive about it but whenever I notice I have one, I throw it in a container. I’m sure I’ve spent any number of them over the years without realizing it. Recently I’ve noticed some because they’re not accepted by the automated checkout lane at the grocery.
I don’t think they’re worth much more than face value. The whole exercise seems kind of pointless. But I do it anyway. The other day I found one that was so dirty I could barely recognize it as a wheat penny but the self checkout rejected it. I started cleaning it and found that it was a steel penny from 1943. It’s hardly mint condition and still probably isn’t worth much but I thought it was kind of cool. That was a first.
I got 2 of them

Seeking advice. I am sick of dealing with 1 lb propane canisters (they’re impossible to dispose of where I live).
I have a unique situation where I live and have to move my grill from my detached garage (where it is kept) up two steps to another step that’s like 36”x36” - this is where my grill (currently a Weber Q 1200) sits when I grill. I then move back into my garage when done and it’s cooled down.
I grill wayyyyyyyy more than smoke anything and never do long, long overnight smokes.
However I despite not smoking a ton still am sold on a portable pellet grill. I’d do a Weber 18’ kettle but a) I am lazy, b) have poor vision so charcoal is tough for me to sometimes see if lit and c) it takes so long to cool down I couldn’t move back into my garage that evening probably and it’d likely walk away. City livin’ …
Which of these should I grab? Price is pretty irrelevant.
GMG Trek (I’m kinda sold on it) …
https://greenmountaingrills.com/products/grills/prime/trek/I have had a GMG Daniel Boone for 4 years. I have had no issues. The "trek" used to be called the Davey Crockett

I never understood why they pay so much money for game announcers. Nobody cares about the announcers. Just rotate a bunch of low level jags who will do it for nothing. No one is going to stop watching their team play because the announcer sucks.
I'll remember this when she draw a Texas game
