This is not accurate. PJ and the lady whose lawyer had identified her as a lifelong acquaintance of Ford's were not involved in the alleged crime, and neither of them have corroborated even minimally the allegations. In fact, the friend of Ford has indicated that she was never at any time, the referenced party or others, at a party where Kavanaugh was present. This really isn't that hard to track.

Mr. Judge has not denied the event.  He has simply said he doesn’t remember anything like that.  He is also BK’s bestie.  He needs to be made to testify under oath and under penalty of felony charges.

Ford’s friend also has not denied being at the party, she simply says she doesn’t remember a party like that.  I also can not remember a party I was at in high school or at UT where a girl was made to feel unsafe by a sexually predator, but I am certain I have been in the presence of such an event at some point in my life.  Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, simply means that since I was not emotionally traumatized, I don’t remember it.

  2. I love the assertion that we know BK is clean because he passed background checks in the past.  If powerful people want you to pass, and there is no public attention, you will pass the background check. Exhibit A-  Kush has top secret clearance.

When “the enemy of the people” do their job and shine light on the underbelly, then it becomes a bit harder for the power brokers to do their thing unimpeded.

This would have happened with Hardiman too.  This was going to be the Democrat's strategy no matter what white man Trump nominated.  With Barrett they would parade someone out to make accusations of racism or homophobia against her.  There is absolutely no one on planet Earth that Trump would nominate that the Democrats weren't going to go political smear on.

Trump should nominate Garland just to test this theory.

Where did ‘ol Brett get all that money? What happened between 2005 and Feb 2006? Maybe he placed a wager on a certain college football team in the Rose bowl? Maybe his bookies were going to break his legs and then it was 4th and 5 and then he was saved. Maybe this is all Mack Brown’s fault.

This seems like a big deal.  Has it been explained?   It would seem that financial shenanigans can actually be investigated fairly easily.

I do understand. .  So the new standard is you just have to be credible. She hasn't put anything on the line. If she succeeds, she will be a liberal hero. If she fails, she will still be a liberal martyr. She is a known left wing anti Trump activist as is her attorney. Maybe I could write a letter to the CRUZ campaign. I saw Beto molest a child and I can certainly be credible even if I am lying.

This crap is going to bite libs big time in the future when you are in power.

Yes write that letter.  Then write a letter saying you want the FBI to investigate it and you are willing to give sworn testimony under  the threat of felony charges.

No, a poster asking you simple questions. She doesn't remember almost anything. Its just as possible that this event happened at a different time and place and someone else assaulted her and she confused Kavanaugh for the other guy. The point is that she hasn't provided anything other than a letter that Feinstein has refused as of now to release to Grassley. Maybe she is hiding something.

It's fine if you don't fully trust her story or recollection, but you really are gonna defend that poster saying "it may have been her wet dream"?  Really??  That seems well adjusted and perfectly appropriate to you?

Where is your proof? She doesn’t remember anyone at the party, where the party was, or when the party was. For all we know it could have been a wet dream.

Another "well adjusted conservative" asserting a woman's rape allegation is just a her wet dream.

And the Republican female senators would tell her to fuck off in the nicest way possible.

True but they will look like dicks.  They said they want to hear from her.  She would be offering to talk to them.  When a rape victim shows up in the police station or ER they often want to speak with a female cop or be examined by a female doc.  It is understandable and I think most woman would sympathize.

Suggesting a man likes tofu carries a clear message: He’s not a man at all, and he seeks to emasculate you, too. Cruz’s warning about tofu is the equivalent of calling O’Rourke a soy boy, a meme that declares a man so besotted with feminine thinking he consumes a food that supposedly messes with the hormones that make him a man. This is an especially telling insult coming from a candidate who, during the 2016 election, endorsed Trump after the presidential candidate insulted his wife, his family, and every other aspect of his masculinity.

  10. Does anyone know if there is a legal difference between lying under oath to Congress or lying to the FBI with respect to severity of violation?   Main reason I would want all involved parties, including the witness, to testify/talk to FBI is to get everything on record and subject to prosecution in the event that later facts prove one party was lying.  If Kavanaugh is later proved to be lying, he needs to be impeached.  If Dr. Ford or Mr. Judge are later proved to be lying, they need to be facing jail time.

i wonder if you realized back when you were cheering it that the shoe could somehow be on the other foot.

Exactly.  I enjoyed watching USC get fucked with a blown safety call just like everyone else here.  I get it.  I have 3 cousins and 2 uncles that went to USC and I enjoyed given them shit the whole game and listening to them whine, it was probably as delicious as some of you regard lib tears.   But imagine we had to play USC everyday, and they got to choose the refs every other day, and even change the rules mid game.  At some point this would not be fun any more.  It's probably to late now, but the whole lets fuck the other "team" for tears doesn't translate to governance very well.  When you play little tricks and ignore decorum, respect and honor, it comes back to bite you in the ass.

They are negotiating terms for her testimony.

I expect we'll all hear from Dr. Ford soon.

Yes I understand, but it still reminds me of this movie scene:

El Guapo: You cannot force open the petals of a flower. When the flower  is ready, it opens itself up to you.

Jefe: So when do you think Carmen will open up her flower to you?

El Guapo: Tonight, or I will kill her!

He is not entitled to anything in the confirmation process.

Exactly.  Art Biles is not entitled to a lifetime appointment as Texas head coach even though accusations against him can not be DNA proven.  There is smoke, lots of smoke.  You pass on this candidate and consider the next.  This is NOT a criminal trial.
