Fees are fucking ridiculous. Some friends of mine bought RRR tickets so they could go with us this year, $260 fees per ticket for upper level(just the fees), I don’t know how much the tickets were.

So I watched an ONTexasFootball vid this morning where Gerry dropped some hints that some schools are still doing old style recruiting as opposed to legit NIL. This seemed to be in regards to DT recruits. He appeared to be optimistic that because of this, things might turn around later in the cycle. I’m a little confused as to how cash under the table becomes less lucrative later on unless it’s an Eric Dickerson style double cross. Would be funny if that’s the case.

Barron might be the most overrated player on this entire team

Brisket was $2.96 a lb about 3 yrs ago everyday at HEB, then it crept up to $3.46 last year. I was looking yesterday for one and now that shit is $3.76, wtf man?

I love how Bobby and Gerry were so confident that afrer winning the conference, making the playoffs, and moving to the SEC would be massive for recruiting, when all it's done so far has given us AIDS at DB/DL, where we need the beat players possible. Offense is fine, as per usual, since that's where the NIL seems to be spent with an offensive HC, but TE is grim if we don't land Townsend and just have future Juan Davis clone Emaree Winston. Does Klein's offense even use a TE? Because that's a kick to the nuts if they barely do and they have Armstrong,
I can't bring myself to watch coffee and football until we actually land someone noteworthy.
Jordan Washington will be a stud. Calm your tits.

There aren’t a ton of high end portal DL that become available and the ones that did we got outbid for. That doesn’t sound like a great strategy either.

A program that openly bought the #1 recruiting class a few years ago without a real NIL program would like us to have some class guys, c’mon.

Overheard an aggy coworker talking to another on the phone today. “ I hope Schloss trips over a homeless guy, falls in his shit and gets AIDS.” They mad, I was laughing my ass off.

CDC put his sack on Gomer’s head and made him wear testicle earmuffs. Damn, it’s good to be a gangsta!

Seems that way.
Although just wishcasting, the staff could have a point. We like to rotate defensive line and finding 4 high school guys each year isn't possible without paying a shitload of money and neglecting other positions. We originally brought in guys like Swanson who needed development and by the time they started to put on enough weight (got to the talent level needed), they transferred. Maybe the staff just wants to focus on a couple of players and then fill up with the best available without breaking the bank. So we end up with the two best guys the staff can get and then some fluff. Then, each year we get rid of our own fluff and bring in guys like Swanson after they have begun to develop. Probably not true, but at least it sounds somewhat reasonable right up to the point of getting all fluff and no big time studs at DT.
Swanson transferred because he still wasn’t good enough to play much. You can’t fill up on bread that never pans out. Sark is staying true to form by staying on the guys he wants and not settling, we’ll see how it turns out. I expect him and staff to keep hanging around the guys he misses on to see if he can get a late flip based on a successful season and possibly a disastrous one by someone else.

I don’t know man, I’m frustrated too but I think there’s a difference between the market and desperate idiots overpaying. There are real estate listings all the time that are just bait and every once in awhile some moron pays twice what something is worth. I like to think that the University of Texas has smart people in the right places to know the difference.

$2mill NIL deal at KState
How the hell does K State or any business in Manhattan cover that? Even if they do, how is the juice worth the squeeze?

Gerry is confident we'll get 2-3 and probably a project like DJ Sanders, so I'm remaining hopeful.
Maybe I didn’t hear correctly but I thought Gerry has said we need to get 3 of our targets there. I haven’t heard him say he’s confident we’ll get them. Zion’s girlfriend is going to LSU and I’m afraid he’s thinking with the wrong head. I don’t know that we lead with any of the others except maybe Brown and that’s debatable.

My BIL cooks burgers until they’re dry as a popcorn fart and he places the spatula about 1/2 inch over the coals for about 30 seconds each time he flips them, just to be sure.

Nothing, I was addressing 2 issues. I was condensing thoughts and not prioritizing sentence structure. Sorry for any confusion.

DA here is a joke, there was a band playing after the parade that is known to have a lot of nefarious followers and yet they were booked anyway.

They should bring in Jon Taffer to scream at some people, it would at least be entertaining.

So ESPN has Jared Wiley ranked ahead of Sanders?
