  1. Back wheel on my Chameleon has cracks on a couple spoke holes.  So, I've been on the DL for two weeks, waiting for a new 27.5" replacement rim.   No new mtb's in the shops (except for some very high end models)/ parts are all back ordered.  Crazy Times!

Check out ooTunes. It allows you to pause, record, scroll through recordings and even schedule future recordings. I record the 5:30am until I wake up parts of the Musers and can listen to them later on in the day whenever I want.

Thanks! this looks like a great app.  I'm an android phone user, and it looks like they only have an ios version.  I'll check it out on my ipad though.

I sometimes record streaming audio with Applian's replay media catcher on my pc.  Then use windows task scheduler to automatically move the files to dropbox, for streaming to to my phone/ networked devices.  A little more involved to set up, but, it does a good job.

  3. For the Little Ticket listeners on the TuneIn Radio app, it appears they have recently disabled the ability to pause/ 30 sec skip backward/ forward, if you are using the built-in Ticket streaming link.  Same with a number of other streaming stations.  Guess Cumulus/ radio powers are cracking down.

Solution to this is enter a manual URL for the Ticket, and save it as a favorite.  Launch from the URL and Pause/ 30 Sec. Skip functionality will be restored.  However, Record does not work.

All that fancy shit and you're using Johnsonville sausage?  I only use Johnsonville if I'm really in a bind...like if the store is out of every other much better option.

Nothing fancy- just a good midwestern, tavern-style pizza.  Johnsonville is consistent/ nice and greasy.

  5. Mutti's is good (and, Jimmy's also has Don Pepino's, which is also tasty), but, I like to get Cento Tomato Puree (you can find it at Wal-Mart), and add salt and sugar.  Thin crust dough (Basic recipe w/ Italian sourdough yeast, w/ a little neutral yeast for some extra spring), Johnsonville Italian Sausage, and the highest quality/ highest fat Mozzerella I can find (currently, using cheese from Business Costco fwiw, or, in a pinch, regular Costco Mozz cheese, or, Sargento/ Kraft from the grocery stores).  Longer you let the dough ferment/ condition, better it is- up to a point.  High Temp bake/ pizza stone in oven.  Pretty good for home-made pizza.

  6. Finally kegged my Zwickel Lager made with Kveik Oslo yeast.  First pull is pretty clear (seast settles well), and tastes a little bit sharp.  But, it's only been force carbed for a day and a half, and still needs to lager for a few weeks.  So, I anticipate it mellowing out.  Still can't believe how fast this yeast works- at room temp (which is on the low, low side of the recommended fermentation temperature range.)

El Real are pretty good and have a fried egg option.

    Spanish village are good.

Tony's mexican on Ella are my personal favorite, though.  Old School Tex mex that tastes like the places I grew up eating.  Of course you could go to the place I grew up eating...it's still there, although I haven't been in years.  La Hacienda on Memorial and Dairy Ashford.

Used to love going to Tony's for enchiladas when I lived in the Heights.  Great place.

Remember that they had some high-octane margaritas.

I just bought a used 2-tap kegerator.  And now need kegs, regulator, and CO2.  Gonna be done bottling soon!

That's absolutely the way to go.  I bottled for way too long.  Depending upon the size of your kegerator/ and assuming you can fit two corny kegs into it, get at least a double regulator.  You'll get to where you have two kegs on tap.  I have a Taprite T752HP, $95 on Amazon Prime.  Works great.  Set up w/ red gas hoses and ball locks.

Cheapest new CO2 bottle I found was at Specs, think it was $70 or $80, and came filled.  $17 tank swap-outs there too (they don't fill on-site/ and the bottles are decently full of gas vs. others).  Get a decent length lock/ hose/ picnic tap, along with the plastic tube portion of a gravity bottle-filler (fits inside the picnic tap perfectly), and you have a workable growler/ bottle filler.  Bunch of threads on how to set this up.  Plenty of used kegs out there from brewers/ ex-brewers.  Easy to replace gaskets/ seals.  Also, Austin Homebrew has used cornies for $49 and new ones for $75.

The stock fan on a Ryzen 7 is very quiet. Can’t speak for the fan you have.

Agree- running R7-2700 processors in a Cooler Master N200 mini tower and in an Elite 130 mini itx box (desktop pc and video/ backup server).  No problems w/ the stock AMD fan.
