Sanders and Mitchell both should be much better blockers than they are. Would really help out in the running game, and sometimes it leaves points on the field.

that 4th down play where sanders got blown the fuck up on his block isn't going to be fun to watch on film today.

“Getting his personal life in order” can mean a bunch of things. Not sure why you are jumping to opioid addiction speculation the day after he had the game of his life.

you're right, sorry. I'm proud of the kid for getting his act together and not trying to bag on him.

He's worked his ass off to right the ship and I have to think last night was one of the greatest nights of his life.

Yea not going there at all. I think he wasn’t putting the work in most likely.

It was a just a strange line of commentary from Herbie that he brought up multiple times. I could be wrong but I don't recall him even saying anything about his maturity or work ethic last year versus this year. It was about 'getting his personal life in order' and not really about football.

Admittedly, maybe I'm reading too much into it because it fits the narrative I created in my head last year.

Weird what happens when you get a full compliment of players huh?

Now we see if he can keep those players focused week in and week out and win the conference.

It looks like we might have the horses to run with anybody, so there isn't any excuses for Sark. Would be one hell of a redemption story if he can do something special this year.

I don't understand why so many people doubted him.

    lol really?

One interesting thing last night was how oftern Herbstreit alluded to their convos during the week where Quinn talked about getting his personal life in order. He never said explicitly what that meant other than to say that Quinn found Jesus.

Watching him last year, the dude looked like he lived off of beer and opiods. I wonder if there was substance abuse issues at play last year?

One of the best parts was watching those inbred necks make the mad dash for the exits and their rusted out IROCs with three minutes of game time left.

I waved at my TV when they panned to that scene. God that was so fucking glorious.

  7. Early in the game it looked like it was going to be a long night for our D. They were getting yards in chunks and moving our guys around at will. I'm not enough of an X's and O's guy to know what changed, but once we started to get pressure on Milroe everything changed.

It's been so long since we had a defense that I honestly was a bit stunned last night. That will be the biggest and strongest offensive line they face all year and they completely manhandled them.
