Well… this team better get their shit together bc Washington isn’t a team that is going to let up on the gas.  We could be in for a fucking embarrassing nightÂ

He is worried about earthquakes.
Too soon? -
I’m just still upset that FSU and Liberty weren’t in the playoffs, they are undefeated!!!!
Oh wait… -
That ref is going to deservedly get held over the coals. Not only for tonight's mistake but also for being part of the crew for those two other games. Why is he even bothering to explain his side when the replay clearly shows it couldn't have happened that way?
You have no idea what was said by anyone. You think he heard it and just ignored it?- 1
-
Dude it's been clarified that 70 was recognized as reporting eligible, the refs told the Lions that was what happened. And the referee clearly points at Skipper and nods at him and recognized him before your screenshots.Â
So you’re saying it’s a conspiracy by the refs that they were told by everyone that they were eligible but chose to ignore it? Everyone that needed to report, didn’t period. -
Â
Here are some screenshots, Skipper never reported, he never got any closer than are what’s showing here. He tried to pull something and got caught.
-
Then you aren't punishing the offense for fumbling.Â
I like the rule. The game is officiated way too skewed against defense. This is one of the last minor ways that at least attempts to give a shred of balance to the game.Â
If you fumble it forwards and it goes out of bounds they bring it back to that spot and retain possession. Why should that change just because it’s at the goal line?- 1
-
It’s not an illegal formation if he reports. If he doesn’t report it’s illegal and the flag should be thrown at the snap.
What does it matter if it was thrown at the snap or two seconds later? -
And how would you change it? Dont fucking fumble the ball into the end zone. Fumble it out of bounds.
They instituted these fumble forward rules going way back to Kenny Stabler and Dave Casper of the Raiders. Who in a game against the Chargers, Stabler was going to be sacked and fumbled on purpose and pushed it forward, and then Casper kept dribbling the ball forward until it crossed the goaline and he jumped on it and scored a game winning TD. The called it the “Holy Roller”
What they would do with a new rule it simply move the ball back to the point it was fumbled and mark it there with the offense retaining control.- 1

the replay shows 68 and 70 walk to the ref and say something.
The left tackle was uncovered which is illegal formation. One reported but the left tackle didn’t. Wouldn’t have mattered anyway -
I dunno about illegal formation but he did report. He walks right up to the ref before Skipper even gets there and reports.
Skipper didn’t report. The bald guy did. Doesn’t matter anyway because the left tackle was uncovered so immediate illegal formation.- 2
