  1. That Thing You Do. I love this movie. My oldest picked it because she’s a Tom Hanks fan. I swear this movie has a gravitational field that’s very strong. I would always stop down and watch it whenever it was on HBO back in the late 90s.

I led you here. For I am Spartacus.

  2. My kids are aging out of this but we always liked it. You can go in with him but wear pants. Lots of rope burn. The slides are fun.

Another thought, though it's in Dallas, is renting a kayak and going around White Rock Lake. One of my favorite things to do in Dallas. Head towards the Mockingbird bridge for a view of Dallas you don't normally get. Though you will see trash. You can rent a two person kayak where he hangs out up front since he can't really help you paddle.

  3. James Earl Jones is getting up there in age. He's done all the recent Vader voice overs outside of video games. Plus, straight villain movies don't happen, do they? I mean at least with Boba he's the anti-hero, like Logan/Wolverine.

Supposedly, the movie that was shelved was something related to the Mos Eisley Spaceport, so maybe Solo 2. Obi Wan and Boba Fett are still in the pipeline...supposedly.

  4. Not under Disney, I'd imagine.

    And then there's this:

'Multiple films' still in 'Star Wars' pipeline, sources say

COMING UP'Star Wars' movie openings through the years

    Hold up, "Star Wars" fans.

Reports of the death of future standalone films from that galaxy far, far away (like "Solo," "Rogue One" and a rumored -- but never-announced -- Obi-Wan Kenobi project) appear to be premature, and speculative at best.

Lucasfilm sources on Thursday characterized as "inaccurate" a report that future "Star Wars" movies falling outside of the regular trilogy storyline (Episodes I to IX) have been put on hold in the wake of the box office under-performance of "Solo: A Star Wars Story."

Instead, Lucasfilm told ABC News there are still "multiple" Star Wars films currently in development that have not been officially announced. Those projects are moving forward separate from an already-announced "Star Wars" trilogy being overseen by "The Last Jedi" director Rian Johnson and another series of movies from "Game of Thrones" producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

"Star Wars: Episode IX" starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac is set to hit theaters in December 2019.

The film is being directed by J.J. Abrams, who also helmed "The Force Awakens" in 2015.

Lucasfilm is not yet talking publicly about the subject of any unannounced "Star Wars" films or their expected release dates. Fans will just have to wait and see.

"Always in motion is the future," as Yoda says.

ABC News and Lucasfilm are both part of parent company Disney.

  5. You really have to wonder the massive delusion that goes through the head of that person. First off, you have to get the money. Second, you have to get Disney to even return your phone call. Third, you have to convince them to redo a movie that already made over a billion dollars. Fourth, you have to get all the actors to agree to reshoot the movie. Fifth, you have to get distributors to actually sign up to screen a fan made movie in their theaters.

Sweet Lord, it's just a movie.

A fan of a country you have no allegiance to and just like one player? You can always pull for Iran.

My fellow Liverpool peeps know what a lead is like with Lovren in your backfield. White knuckling for 30 more minutes.
