Yeah, what kind of a dipshit promotes an endorsement from the former governor of a critical swing state, but not the endorsement from a random white supremacist grifter provocateur?   Lmao, indeed, at doing ... exactly what any sane person would do.

In terms of harm done, the white supremacist is less morally culpable than the former governor who poisoned shit loads of black people.  Maybe this callous indifference to the suffering of minorities is why Biden is doing so horribly with them compared to Hilldawg.

On the subject of the Hispanic vote I completely believe it is over 15% for Trump. It is probably closer to 25%. I was incredulous to this idea 3+ years ago but I get it now.

The single issue Catholic anti-abortion vote is a lot of it of course. But a good deal can be explained by a simple analogy: Upon passing the bar, new lawyers overwhelming agree there are too many lawyers.

This is not unique to Hispanic immigrants, documented or not, even several generations in. A few nights ago I had a CNN show on in the background and new Syrian immigrants, now citizens, very much supported Trump. They felt they have persevered and their hard work had paid off. This is undoubtedly true. They viewed Trump and Republicans as the face of the American dream and those that have not achieved are undesirable, and competition is not welcome.

Having spent a lot of time in the valley, the conservative hispanics I have met (skewing younger) tend to be predominantly male and tend not to give a shit about immigration and are not even really that religious.  In my experience, they are largely similar in outlook to the stereotypical white, exurb inhabiting conservatives.

the constant list making of good GOP and bad GOP must be exhausting.

challenge: link to one post where you faulted him for flint's water previously.  it's not as though it isn't painfully obvious that all good or bad means is protrump or antitrump.  its only every third post from brisket, yet you still do it.

Damn you got me. I thought it was bad ass that he was making all those poors drink lead until he endorsed Biden.

Still not as stupid as you, considering you’ll continue to suck his dick and whine about politics and sports

I don't agree at all with Clay's assumed politics, I just respect the grift.  Saying he's a moron is like saying the Walton's must love cheat shit made overseas for slave wages - you are confusing the source with the product.

We're cheering Cole's struggles because he plays for the New York Yankees. It's nothing personal.

So if WS MVP George Springer signs with the Yankees next season after not receiving a competitive offer from the Astros, you would root for him to suck?  That's pretty stupid.  I would hope most fans would wish him success in any games not played against the Astros.

  6. His release point last year was the highest of his career.  I imagine he realizes a higher release point --> higher effective spin on his fastball --> higher SwStr%.  He lowered it because, for whatever reason (could be a lingering injury or something else), he's physically uncomfortable throwing at that elevated release point.  Could also be because of some mechanical issue he can't find the zone with that release point.

I note he also did a better job of clustering his FB/SL/CU release points last year, so maybe it's a mechanical issue.

A 3.51 ERA is a “problem”? He was 3.95 with us last year at the same point

the 10 HRA is definitely scary... looks like he learned a few things from JV.

He's been somewhat worse this season -  .306 xwOBA versus around .270 xwOBA last year after the same number of starts.  He seems to have lowered his release point somewhat this year and his fastball is not nearly as dominant as it was last year.

Still, I don't know why Astros fans are cheering on his struggles.  It just looks like butthurt about him signing elsewhere.

So after all this, your whole point is "Listen, Republicans are the existential threat the democracy, not Trump specifically."

As I said  before, I tried to read your article, and was immediately met by a plate of shit. I came back, and you've assured me that there's an entire human centipede of shit in that article if I'd just give it a chance, and each subsequent post you've mode hasn't even attempted to portray anything otherwise.

As JimmyJazz said, I don't think you understand the meaning of the word "existential," and I'll second and proffer the notion that you struggle with the concept of Democracy as well.

Think about what happened in 2010, and in 2016 when the Dems did not have a charismatic candidate leading the ticket.  What is to stop those same things from happening (only worse as we will get someone who is deadly series like Cotton and not a clown like Trump) in 2022 and 2024?  If the dems live by the same rule that has guided every one of their administrations since Carter, then the resentment that fueled Trump's election isn't going anywhere, even after cheeto dick has been defeated.

That is mind numbingly stupid. Even for a 6 year old with a learning disability. It doesn't matter if you think his aspirations aren't actually as profound as being an autocrat, or literally wanting to start a race war. He's the candidate, and if the people he continues to employ in their administrative roles (and his enablers in Congress) do things that effectively bring about any of those terrible things (and barr shitting all over the Constitution and Rule of Law is a threat to democracy as our guardrails continue to be destroyed) then guess what, he is a fucking existential threat to democracy.

Get fucked, troll. And get better material. I think your persona would do well over at Texags.

This is just bemoaning the rightward drift of the party and ordinary Republican corruption, not arguing that Trump is some sui generis tyrant that must be stopped at any cost. If you had bother to read the article, you would see that the thrust of his argument is that voting in conservative Democrats will only make these problems worse.

So your attempt to advocate for me or anyone else to go back and actually read that article is to claim that the big, fast, steaming pile of fetid bullshit he spews at they very beginning is actually the least absurd, stupid, just completely un-tethered from reality bit of shit in the article?

That's a bold move, Cotton. But I guess you're saying he made no effort to drain the swamp after all? Agree with you there.

No, the point is that anyone who believes that Trump is an existential threat to democracy is a child’s understanding of how this administration actually operates.

I realize that you're a troll and generally a piece of shit poster, but it's hard not to laugh when we get to paragraph two of your "great piece" and see this fucking gem:

Perfect point to stop reading that piece of shit article.

That’s the least controversial claim made in the entire article. Trump is not some aspiring dictator, and isn’t even invested in using the power he currently holds by taking an active hand in running his own administration.  The things his administration have done that are anti-democratic are things that any Republican administration would do as his admin is filled with the same people as would occupy any generic Republican administration.

nope--it's the same as when a Klansman, interviewed prior, said he switched his vote to Hillary just before the election.  He knew that saying he was voting for Trump wasn't going to help Trump in the election--nobody want's the Klan vote, and there was no way he wasn't going to vote for a Republican.  Saying and doing aren't the same.  It was bullshit then and it's bullshit now.

I think Spencer hates Trump and realizes that the MAGA/alt-right movement is a dead end.  I wouldn't be surprised if he rebrands as a radlib and pushes for segregation on a "woke" basis, as this rationale for racial discrimination will likely be more effective moving forward.
