It's so myopic and over played on classic rock radio.  Musically it feels a lot more brittle (probably intentional, but it just doesn't work for me) compared to the albums I mentioned.  I've heard a lot of those songs thousands of times and it just never lands.  Even "Comfortably Numb".

Better than the Syd Barrett era though.  That stuff is just "let's take acid and fuck around with guitars" nonsense to my ears.

And none of this is to say that Dark Side and WYWH aren't over played.  It's just that I think those albums are good enough that the over exposure doesn't annoy me.

IDK I think this is one of PF's best songs

love the little things like that. I didn't make the connection that it is Frankie Valli playing Rusty Millio - I wonder if there are any references or jokes around that in the show? Also loved in the Legend of Tennessee Moltisanti (in the same scene where the Vito actor plays a different character prior to Vito's introduction to the show), Christopher shoots the worker at the bakery in the foot (as his character Spider was shot in the foot in Goodfellas).

maybe similar to that - Tony with his bottle of orange juice in his botched hit, calling back to the oranges in the Godfather movies. That connection between oranges and death carried through those movies (or at least I guess until the orchard scene). I think in The Sopranos, eggs play a similar role. Which works well given the whole.. birds thing. I need to watch again.

When AJ gives Carmella a Matrix DVD which has Joey Pants (Ralphie) on the cover. We don't see said cover, be he is on it.

How can Long still possibly have a job at Kansas?

He should have been fired when he re-ignited the rivalry with the slavers, let them wallow in mediocrity in the SEC.
