Just passing along what I've been hearing, but it sounds like UT really cooled off on Wilson and he basically didn't have an offer by the time he committed to OSU. Herman is big on Texas guys who love Texas (and good kids who graduate) and Wilson didn't really check off those boxes. Look for UT to start looking at some higher character Texas kids in the Brock Fitzhenry mold now that they have moved on from Wilson.

We can't let our Offer-to-LOI ratio get too low. That is one of those key analytical thingy's that measures the success of a program.

I hate that Surly_unreadicon.pngmeans "Go to First Unread Post" within each forum, but THE EXACT SAME ICON means "Mark Forum as Read" on the main page.

Is there any way to undo this?

  3. I loved The Longest Day, but it was a different experience for me. My grandfather was at Normandy, so I already knew D-Day was successful.

Ray was also a really good movie, but it was a different experience for me. I saw Ray Charles in concert, so I already knew he was blind.

The Darkest Hour and Dunkirk were both a different experience for me. I showed up to class that one day and learned about them.

  4. At the end of April last year, Carlos Correa was just hitting .233 with a slugging percentage of .349 and an OPS of .658.

And he already had 250 games and 1000 AB's of experience.

Fisher had 50 games and 150 AB's last year.

It will take some time to figure out how good Fisher will be.

On a sad note, 1 of the original Colt 45/Astros, Rusty Staub died. He was signed by the Colt 45s in 1961. Astros traded him to the Expos in 1969.

Rusty Staub and Joe Morgan never should have been traded away. They should have been lifetime Astros like Bagwell, Biggio, and Altuve.

    RIP Rusty.
