  1. I’d have to imagine learning French first.
  2. Guess Jamie is just going to have to get over it.
  3. A really good, smart, and funny dude. I had not kept up with him as much over the years outside of always enjoying his posts here, as life carried him off to CA, teaching, digs and all of that stuff, but we were friends in college. I'll never forget when there was somewhere fun to go, and one of us would say, "I need to take a shower first." he would toss you a hat and, in his smart ass way, say, "There's your shower". I've still used that one from time to time (with mixed results with my wife). This is shocking.
  4. For all you fretting about costs one thing I can advise you to remember and maybe take a little bit of solace in as somebody who has had one go all the way through and 2 in right now. These kids are costing you money this very minute. You’re feeding them, clothing them, they are using your water, your heat and AC, you pay for the travel ball and the dance classes, the uniform for the team or club they are in, you HEMORRHAGE gas money that you don’t even realize driving them or yourselves to all their events and competitions, you may be paying for a test tutor or a college counselor, motels and hotels for college visits and on and on and on (don’t even get me started on all you have or will shell out around Sr year activites) The good news is a lot of these death by a thousand paper cuts things dry up substantially when they move on to college. Yes it IS more and that can be pretty variable on where they end up, aid/merit they get etc. BUT say you are looking at a total yearly bill of 30,40 even 50K. It’s not additive to what you are incurring today. You will buy less groceries, use less gas, get knicked a lot less here and there for activity and school related things (did I mention Sr year expenses). The “bill” will stare at you in much bigger amounts but there is a trade off. Keep the faith. Those of you in the midst of all this with Srs are going through a very expensive, stressful but also totally awesome year. It calms down.
  5. Just like her grandma.
  6. Hilarious “joke”
  7. That's a fair point. The counterpoint would be it's primary season where we Americans have a tradition of letting the motivated fringes dictate who will be the candidates in the general.
  8. Switzerland has four national languages: German (most common), French, Italian, and Romansh, with German, French, and Italian as official languages at the federal level, and Romansh also recognized nationally, though spoken by a small percentage, primarily in the canton of Graubünden. These languages are regionally divided, with different areas predominantly speaking German (east/central), French (west), and Italian (south), reflecting neighboring countries' influences. Key Languages & Usage: German: Spoken by about 62% of the population, mainly Swiss German dialects in daily life, with Standard German (Hochdeutsch) for writing and media. French: Spoken in western regions (Romandy) by around 23% of people, similar to Standard French but with regional variations. Italian: Spoken by about 8% in the southern Ticino canton and parts of Graubünden, influenced by Italian culture. Romansh: A Romance language with historical roots, spoken by less than 1%, mostly in Graubünden.

So what you are saying is the leaders of Europe should present him with a signed copy of And then tape a mouse trap to the back of it.
  13. The evil genius in all of this is that just some 2.5ish weeks ago, we snatched the leader of another country and his wife out of bed in the middle of the night, and nobody is even talking about that much any longer, much less those uh Epstein Files.
  14. We’re gonna get full access to a country….that we already had full access to.
  15. The Beck INT sealed it but the lazy ass punt and blocking when they were not even coming after it hard that turned into a TD is what lost it. Details and effort matter
  16. Beck probably going to throw a int after Rainman tells his defense something he spotted here during this TO
  17. Delay out of a touchback...LMAO
  18. So Indiana, you are gonna want to mark the guy wearing #10
  19. That and the FG doink (though admittedly that was a longer attempt)
  20. Welcome to the club, everybody cheering this on now may come to regret it later. Miami was this scrappy underdog nobody every thought twice about back in the early 80s
