Yeah, I'm right by the foothills in the SW Denver burbs. The current forecast is 89 on Monday and 6" of snow Tuesday. Supposed to be 28 Wednesday morning.

Hopefully it isn't the wet/heavy snow that broken all my tree branches like it did about 3 years ago.

Family owns a few or 5.  It's illegal but cops don't have time to bust them so they run.  Gas stations are beginning to have more and more.  Between those and poker rooms all Texas is doing is losing a shit ton of tax dollars for not legalizing gambling

They should call it 'gaming' like our neighbor.

I think the dam is still there, but I also think this story is related to the flooding:

China restaurant apologises for weighing customers

...The policy was introduced after a national campaign against food waste was launched.

The beef restaurant in the city of Changsha placed two large scales at its entrance this week.

It then asked diners to enter their measurements into an app that would then suggest menu items accordingly.

Signs reading "be thrifty and diligent, promote empty plates" and "operation empty plate" were pinned up...

...The restaurant said it was "deeply sorry" for its interpretation of the national "Clean Plate Campaign".

"Our original intentions were to advocate stopping waste and ordering food in a healthy way. We never forced customers to weigh themselves," it said in an apology posted online.

President Xi Jinping ignited the campaign this week, calling the levels of national food wastage "shocking and distressing".

Following Mr Xi's message, the Wuhan Catering Industry Association urged restaurants in the city to limit the number of dishes served to diners - implementing a system where groups have to order one dish fewer than the number of diners.

State TV also criticised livestreamers who filmed themselves eating large amounts of food.

Wait, they can actually go in restaurants to eat?

So this is what I got. I think it was a refurb. The setup was not that great. Very straightforward but I had to do it 3-4x before it took. My speeds are impetuous, my style is impregnable. I went from ~ 40 down throughout the house to 180 in the back yard and 250 in most other places (cable). But I'm having weird hiccups and I don't know if it's my ISP or my new setup. I rarely had hiccups before. I will be watching a show on a streaming service and I will get a 2-3 second pause before it resumes. Today my internet dropped while I was on a web call which I've been doing for ~ 10 years without any drops. But my phone still shows ~ 250 down at the same time. wth.

A lot ISP have been having problems due to the increase in the demand but is the router prompting for an update?
