Why? He doesn’t have a Hispanic name.
Because he’s a dipshit.

Blue turning the ball over is what kept the score close for one half.

You’d think most of us know this, but I see pearl clutchers on this very site wail daily about how we are getting our asses handed to us in recruiting, when 1) it’s July and 2) they don’t know how Sarkisian and Co. is prioritizing everything. I haven’t read Richardson’s article (frankly, I haven’t read many from him over the years) but I have no problem with the dude writing an article on the subject, it would seem to be his job.
It's because of our sense of justice. We want to crush all these assholes and mete out reciprocal punishment for the past 15 years of embarrassing football. The fact is that our roster has never been stacked with more talent than it is currently. Year over year it has gotten more difficult for Sark to trim the fat because he has so much talented depth. We will keep the players we want to keep. That much is certain. That fat fuck DT we lost to LSU still can't lockdown at starting role and their defense was atrocious last year. I am also certain that we will continue to use the transfer portal to add key pieces and address any roster holes. The situation at DT should have been dire this year, but it looks like it will move forward with little to no drop-off. Thirteen Win Steven is causing our enemies to clutch their pearls. All you have to do is listen to the mouth breathers that call into the Finebaum show.

I don't know if it would be a satisfactory answer that the reward, of my suffering, is that people will know my name. How about a little less suffering and few less people know my name?
Then again I've never been a fan of any story where someone is tested. It feels like a method to control people by proclaiming that it's God testing them. I can understand those in power like stories like this.
I don't look at it from that point of view. I see it as God ready to defend His subject, but so thoroughly impressed by Anthony's resolve that He sat in awe. That is my perspective on it.
The fact that an all knowing being (that can will things into existence) can be astonished by such inferior creations is fun to ponder at least.
I do believe that God mostly stays out of the way, but will come to our aid if we beckon the call. I see it more like a relationship between a parent and child. Like when you were young and you start to gain independence from your parents. They rush to help you with something, but you have to dismiss them and tell them that you want to accomplish the task at hand by yourself. If you end up needing help and you request it, then your parents come to the rescue. Just my opinion.

It's too bad that some of the programs in Florida and Georgia can't put on their big boy pants and do this in state...

You are correct. Campbell’s head is an actual penis.

If you set up a system that rewards cheating, people will cheat. Hard to blame individual actors for a system that has never exactly functioned smoothly.
It would've stopped if they applied the same accountability to these programs that they did to SMU.

I mean Campbell is a dickhead, but I don't blame him. The $EC and perennial cheaters should own the blame for this mess we have.
If these cocksuckers didn't cheat for decades then we wouldn't have all these shenanigans in the first place.

Maybe if Jeff Fisher didn’t want any “7-9 bullshit” he should’ve supported him.

Probably something similar to what happened last season when a starting qb quit mid season.
A bunch of social media indignation on both sides, but nothing else.
Right, that guy sucked and was at a spare program. Would be a shame if it happened at a Florida or a Georgia.

I know that nobody is worried about the lying but what happens when a player holds out because the terms of his agreement weren’t met?

The ncaa isn't running this clusterfuck. Although the ncaa was always just the conferences anyway.

Won’t Deloitte get the shit sued out of them the first time they reject a deal? Isn’t that a giant flashing red sign that says “ANTICOMPETITIVE PRACTICES”?
They will. Deloitte has swindled the NCAA which appears to be run by dumbfucks.

Yeah. And how's their bust rate, and who have they lost to the portal? I don't know, but I'd have a hard time ANYONE has done better at retention/development than Texas has at this point.
Plus, their coach is a GIANT vagina.

Our roster is fucking stacked right now. They can afford to cherry pick for the rest of the spots for this class.
These opposing programs are run by losers who don't have a fucking clue. Oregon is shitting out money left and right, but Lincoln the brisket murderer is just lying through his teeth as he always does.
I'm sure there will be some late season raids on talent when the carousel starts up.

I root against everyone who had a chance to go to Texas but chose to go elsewhere regardless of the reasons. It’s different when they didn’t get the opportunity, but I enjoy being petty.
There’s a lot of making fun of the 9.95ers on this thread, but I feel like I’ve been steered correctly on my expectations for pretty much every recruitment this cycle outside of maybe KJ Edwards. I know some people are disgruntled because we apparently led at some point with a lot of targets, but once the bigger NIL deals started rolling in the 9.95ers adjusted accordingly. Him declaring for Oregon surprised no one who follows On Texas Football.I love a guy like Spence and Moore who have to settle for a lesser team and shows us that they are coming to Texas and will not be denied.

I always like the story about St. Anthony of the desert where he went to a cave and was killed by demons. His followers recovered his body and he was brought back to life. He panicked and asked God where was He during the assault and God responded:
QuoteI was here but I would see and abide to see thy battle, and because thou hast mainly fought and well maintained thy battle, I shall make thy name to be spread through all the world.

Hilarious from a guy who flaked out on the son the of a 5 star legacy QB and basically blew the recruitment worse than Tom Herman did the Brocks.
