I know all the kids involved and know exactly what happened. It was a really stupid prank amongst friends. The offenders apologized, the victim accepted the apology, and he is still on the team and hangs out with the offenders daily.

It could have gone wrong really really quickly but thank God it didn't.

Everyone on the team has moved on.

Good to know.  The lady that tweeted it is in Los Angeles and looks like a fucking lunatic.

So the guy that Texas never pushed for, and doesn't have a place for, who never talks to anyone, is now running around blabbing about Texas with an offer that the blue chip QBs don't get from anyone, anywhere? Awesome.

The people on SECRant have to be a special kind of stupid if they're believing any of it.

There were some east Texas donors, to their credit, trying to round up some commitments to help in the recruitment this summer. We were told, when seeking input to help, that it was not worth anyone's effort and to move on. If you've wondered about that recruitment, since it is now long over for us, that means that Texas would take Bussey ... for free.

"Mr. Handler/Agent? You can have my answer now, if you like. My final offer is this: nothing. Not even the fee for the parking garage, which I would appreciate if you would put up personally."

To be fair even the corndog didn’t believe that bullshit.

To some extent, all guys with NFL talent make business decisions. But Worthy seemed to be the most business decision guy I can recall in my 25+ years of following the Longhorns. Say what you will about Roy, but he was always first round talent but bled burnt orange and would put his body on the line to make tough catches, throw blocks, go after punt blocks. Worthy seemed more focused on the NIL bag every off season than improving or doing things to help the team, was “injured” a lot, disappeared frequently. He may have been protecting himself, but ironically probably cost himself from being a first round pick.

Ok, relax, there's a lot of revisionist history in this post.  Worthy sold out with his body a little too much for my liking.

Did a quick search on where everyone ended up. Some we already know; some were "what happened to that guy?"

Bru McCoy - most know he went back to USC then to Tennessee. Was a starter before a season-ending injury. Coming back for a sixth year.

Jake Smith has transferred to USC then to Arizona State and hasn't played since 2020 at Texas. Coming back for a sixth year I think.

Myron Warren played as a backup DT for Texas State.

Admiora was a backup LB for SMU last season.

Tyler Johnson was the starting LG for UH last year and transferred to play his sixth year for Coach Prime. Maybe he can get that rap career going?

Kennedy Lewis transferred to UTSA and then (had to dig for this one) East Los Angeles College. On3 has an RPM for him to transfer to Charlotte.

Marcus Tillman transferred to Navarro JC and then committed, then de-committed, then re-committed and signed with Memphis in December 2022. He wasn't on the roster last fall so who knows where he ended up.

Kennedy Lewis and DGF to play for Biff Poggi.  That should inspire some prose from @closetojumpingnext year.

Sanchez and many of their other stars didn’t grow up around there or in that school system. His older brother played at a Fort Bend school, and Sanchez transferred in to NS for high school. For the superior academic environment.

It’s been beaten to death already so I’ll leave it alone I guess. This board has already made up their minds that he’s a bust and will be terrible. We’ll see who’s right on draft day 2027.

Serious question, I’m being sincere here, do you ever get tired of being a dumbass?

I've already provided a breakdown, in this thread, of North Shore recruits and their value + performance after leaving HS. I am correct in my sentiment and have no interest in digging that work up for your ignorant, uninformed ass. Schools spent hundreds of hours and over $1M on Zac Evans trying to get his sorry ass to campus and then trying to retain him there. He did nothing but mope as a locker room cancer, bounce around with the occasional big game, wait for his NFL eligibility to kick in and then plead a sob story to NFL teams about how he was mishandled. Some dumb fucking team drafted him late and he did nothing this year, but that, in your idiotic opinion, enables you to make a "3 players on an NFL roster" claim.

My entire point revolves around shit like what Zac Evans has done. Or Denver Harris. Or Shadrach Banks. Or Robbie Reid. Or Kris Ross. Or sundry other shitheels coming out of that place. You have to kiss 10 turds before one of them turns into K'Lavon Chaisson. There are countless other schools with better numbers than that. That's why you see NS and Sanchez getting cursory focus from Texas now.

So take your "major lulz" and shove them straight up your fat ass. Then, maybe go educate yourself a smidge on the subject matter before coming back here and spraying your special form of stupid all over this thread again.

And, Chaisson is about to be jobless in the NFL.  Colossal bust.

Hell, North Shore's best representative from the past decade was a lowly ranked undrafted fellow by the name of Trey Hopkins.
