Add in Wingo who is different than any receiver on our roster at his size and speed. Next year we will likely have the fastest receiving unit ever at Texas as a whole
Oh, most definitely. I have a group chat with friends and family who are all alums called “Team Ryan Wingo”. Big fans of Ronnie Jr. so we all collectively lost our shit when we landed his brother.

Hold the phone, the Detroit Pistons' coach is making $13M/year???!?!! Didn't I see that they just lost something like 30 in a row?
Some expensive wins!!!

Cook, Golden and Bond are a hell of a way to replace Worthy, AD and JWhitt.

Is it so hard to believe that nobody would want to play for Ed “Wild boy” Orgeron? The guy is a fucking legend.

Good question. Its my understanding from a good friend from Southlake is the scholarship/in state deal is FR year only. That could have just been his package, but he's paying full out of state now. Also, may be grade/GPA related to hold that in-state tab.
The state is trying to tap in to a more diverse worker pool to meet demands of growth in the state economic climate. Out of state tuition is nearly 3x
That's interesting because I had LSU and Arkansas waiving out of state tuition for the whole 4 years to get me back in 2005. I could see something similar at Bama. I didn't realize Bama's academic requirements for acceptance were worse than Arkansas and LSU either.

The next @closetojumping update ought to be a doozy. He’s probably overdosing on schadenfreude right now.

This whole saga is highly entertaining.

I have never heard of the 5 yard rule. I know the NFL calls it "close-line" play. I do know that you dont have a 10 yard area from sideline to sideline surrounding the LOS to block in the back. Other exceptions being loose ball, player turns. I dont know why I am blanking on that Watts play.
It was in the 4th quarter near the sideline. They absolutely drilled him after the play was over.

Since when is the greater Seattle area “wine country?”What kind of aristocrat are you!? You telling me you’ve never had a fine Washington merlot?

Muchos gracias. Character flaws says it all. That's all I was wondering.

What’s happened to our North Shore pipeline? Most of the time those guys went to Texas or LSU and nowhere else.

Boy, Washington fans are pudding soft. Their level of angst and bitterness about Sarkisian is absurd. They just beat the guy twice in little more than a calendar year. He was gracious both times and the CFP was a really good game from both programs. Get a fucking grip, UW fans.
Wine country aggy. Playing for the title and still crying about big bad Texas. Sad!

I really don't understand someone leaving Texas to play for unlv, unless Sark suggested that he should go elsewhere. He's gonna get playing time here, and a much better chance of actually winning a lot of games. Maybe the NIL money there, as a starter, was more than he was going to get as a part time player here.
This cannot be a serious post.

Listen, man, you do realize akina was an Analyst at Arizona, right? An analyst. and not a Gary Patterson million dollar a year analyst. If he wants to come to Texas as the same I’d love to have the guy.
But saying “everyone” credits Akina for the entire turnaround of the Arizona defense this season seems…a bit over the top.
He should be able to help Gideon a good deal assuming Gideon has a positive relationship with him.

I couldn’t recall, but I remember CTJ lambasting Nahlin for stating it.

Looks like Nahlin was a blind squirrel on the Nansen news. He’s still a cunt.
