OU’s defense is strong and played great until the TOs started.  Tough situation for Quinn to come back but exactly what he needed.  The O has been tested against real defenses.  The biggest question is how the secondary holds up given that they have not been tested by real quality.  That said, we have the ability to bring pressure with relatively limited numbers and the advanced stats support the significant improvement in the pass D.

    Quinn knows what is at stake in this game both personally and for the team and I expect that he will play well.

    In any event, what an amazing opportunity for the Texas program and we should enjoy every minute of what appear to be halcyon days.
     

  2. It looks like Sark has just tightened up the WR rotation at Cook’s expense.  He played 19 snaps against Michigan.  

    Golden played almost every snap (60 of 64) against OU. Wingo and Moore each played 36 snaps while Bond and Bolden played 19 and 13, respectively.

    Only 16 players on offense played more than 5 snaps.
