  1. Fucking finally. He’s been on the cusp of that for weeks.
  2. Is what Ferentz is doing to his QB against the school's code of conduct and ethics or something? Only half joking.
  3. And this was back when the score was like 7-3.
  4. This actually kind of nails it. Mr. Guy is not fucked in the head or going through things. You don't need rumors about his mental health to explain his takes. I found a post I wrote in the Shaka thread in March of this year after Shaka's latest humilation. Won't quote it but It's on this page if you want to read it: https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/topic/19896-point-and-laugh-at-shaka-smart/page/19/ He adores Shaka, and has disliked Beard for years. I wish I could find that article I dug up where BWG saw Shaka speak at a coaching clinic and just gushed about how great he was going to be at Texas. Can't remember what thread I posted that in. It's also funny that he's shitting on potential victories over make-a-wish kids, but never once criticized Shaka for any one of the number of games he played against those teams and LOST. Or barely won.
  5. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019–20_Texas_Longhorns_men's_basketball_team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018–19_Texas_Longhorns_men's_basketball_team Is the non-con noticeably worse than those years? Looks the same to me. I don't recall BWG crushing Shaka for these schedules. Brave Shaka dared to face the gauntlet of the Maui Invitational! But then again, he also didn't put a modicum of blame on Shaka's shoulders for anything ever. It was all bad luck and tough breaks. Even Abilene Christian was just a big bummer aw shucks unlucky thing that happened to a really good coach. Conversely he criticized the new staff relentessly as we marched to our first tournament victory in just under a decade.
  6. Ingram vultured Eno Benjamin, lol
  7. Surly tricked by Twitter is becoming one of my favorite running things.
  8. "Are you sure he didn't do TV for 8 years?"
  9. That slow mo angle actually a great angle that confirms Cook leading with his forearm/elbow and dislodging the football. The contact with his other arm was incidental - and it's laughable to point at that and scream, "SEE! TARGETING!" You could super slow-mo pretty much any tackle with a runner lowering his head and find incidental contact brushing against his helmet or neck area.
  10. I tried to justify the secure the bag thing, but in hindsight it really was a big red flag. That was a lot worse than the Campbell thing though. Campbell briefly lost his cool in a highly emotional moment. BTW I wish we could find out what was said to Campbell.
  11. It was an amazingly precise hit that sniped the football. Just watch the play. Dekkers appears fine, sees that Texas recovered the ball, and then starts rolling around grabbing his head like he's dying. He didn't spend a second in the injury tent and was ready to go right back in if we didn't get a first down. I'm sure it hurt a little bit, but the writhing around was a total act. The mistake Dekkers with an S made is that he should have just lied there completely still. That honestly may have changed the call.
  12. Can we make Dekkers an honory recipient for rolling around like a soccer player after that "targeting" hit to the football? And what kind of last name is that with an "S" at the end? Shit sucks. Drop the S loser.
  13. Why was Vince there btw? Utah lucky to get that free mojo.
  14. 24-21 is as surreal as 49-0. Ok maybe not, but I’m almost as elated. Both outcomes feel so improbable. For the past whatever the fuck years, we’ve never whipped OU and we don’t win games like today.
  15. Here comes the free 6 yards to set up easy 4th and 4?
  16. Was looking a little sus though until Bijan let his nuts hang.
