  1. Weird that the clock was stopped after that run/penalty. I don’t think there is much consistency in the clock across football.
It looked like he made the first down, why accept?
  2. Did we have anything to play for last year when Washington kicked our ass all game to end the season in Washington?i can't remember if Philly already had the 1 seed wrapped up or if we needed them to lose but they were playing at the same time as us.
They needed to win and Philly loss, which they didn't get. But you remember correctly that they were trying all game and looked like shit. 202c3e51a46886c6069003acc3e7a94c.jpg

  3. You need internet and have several options:

1 - your TV is a Smart TV so it has built in apps on it.

2 - you can buy an external device (Roku, firestick, etc) and use that.

In my experience, buying an external device is easier to use and doesn’t get as clunky as using the built in apps on the TV, although they will both work in their own way.

There are a ton of free apps that are out there (Pluto, Tubi, etc) that have movies and tv shows. Similar to a cell phone, there are different apps you can download and navigate through.

You can pay for a service (we have YouTubeTV but there’s also Hulu and other options). We pay $80 or so for YouTubeTV and it works on all the TVs in the house and can be watched by multiple people at the same time. For sports and things you’ll more than likely need one of these services. You can also use an antenna for local channels but that is another conversation.
This. Also, you don't have to buy an external device, but you probably want one for an older TV. They can be very slow. You might be perfectly happy with the speed of the apps on a newer TV.
  4. All of the warning signs needed by anyone who considers eating at this place. Talked to a buddy yesterday who had a chopped beef sammich there on Wednesday for $16.  GTFO And white truffle potato salad hasn't been on any decent barbecue menu that I have ever seen in my lifetime, WTF.  Nobody bats 1.000 and while Felipe Armenta has done well with the variety of restaurants under his flag, unless drastic changes are made to the menu, this place will be shuttered soon.
I get what everyone is saying here, but the place was more or less full last night at 630pm. I think there is a market for this place, it's just not most of us. Maybe not long term but it's not gonna shut down in a few months, IMO.
  5. I thought I had read that you can access ESPN+ content for free if you were a Youtube TV subscriber.  If so, I can't figure it out. How wrong am I?

    Thanks
In the settings you sign in to TV provider. You don't get ESPN plus content, but you get everything you would get live and in demand through YouTube TV. I think.
  6. Hmm.... I've known what OTT is for about 30 seconds. No wonder I don't have a problem with Bally's.
When Bally's bought the Fox RSNs they said they would have a streaming app in the 6 or whatever months later when baseball started. It wasn't ready and was rolled out on a limited basis a year later. By that time their financial condition had seriously deteriorated and MLB and the teams weren't willing to give them a multi year deal for streaming.
  7. Just got this email from the Monticello Neighborhood Association. Has it really come to this?

As some of you may have noticed, many folks in the neighborhood have engaged a private security company called Resource Group to watch over their houses on a regular basis. The company is typically in black suburbans and has licensed, armed officers working the shifts.

Resource Group has several different options and plans for anybody that is interested.
