In no way whatsoever does that support your statement that he was choking her when they got there.  "Incident" is a general term here and "in progress" referes to when the call was made.

I thought the "immediate threat to life and/or public safety" along with his charges of impeding breathing meant he was actively choking her.

Look, you may be new here, but if it isn't immediately clear to you, I almost never have any idea what I'm talking about.

I guess I don't work in the "business" world (I'm a trial attorney) but the mythology that surrounds a McCombs degree is funny to me.

I was recently talking with a guy who is in charge of corporate development (M&A) for a Fortune 200 company. This guy only hires people from top universities that began their career in Investment Banking or a top Consulting firm (like McKinsey, Bain or BCG). He has a strong bias to the elite private universities, but told me he occasionally considers people who got their undergrads from Michigan, UVA or Texas. This isn't mythology. This is an East Coast guy with no Texas connections of any kind.

I don't understand how Card (or anyone else for that matter) can get accepted to a top MBA program without having at least 3-5 years of real world experience. Are there exceptions for athletes? These days MBAs are a dime a dozen, so I would think the top MBA programs would be extra selective.

The top 7 MBAs are the most strict about having quality work experience, but even for them, they will make an exception for someone with a really good story (like an elite athlete coming to lead their football team).

Garbage MBAs are a dime a dozen. People with quality Bachelors degrees (let's say US News top 50) and an MBA from a Top 30 or better are not easy to find. If you are ever giving advice to a younger family member, advise them to get a STEM Bachelors degree from a top university and to follow-that up with a Top 7 MBA. That combo is a golden ticket to life.

Offensive Line. We average a weight of 332 across the line, and they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Jaxson Kirtman, Bainvalium, Center, Ossai, Rosengarten. These boys have an attitude and are ready to rumble!!!

A guy who lines up as an outside rusher who is big enough to play as a hand-down DE or as a stand-up OLB close to the line. Big and fast and a major pass-rush threat.

A conference only works with a common regional identity and familiarity with your opponents.

    Those days are over.

This is all leading to 2 super conferences and having only their champions play for the national title. Talking about anything else is just goat shit on an aggie condom.
