  1. Interesting.  I enjoyed my one meal there (brunch), but it didn't wow me.  really snobby service which I found kinda funny for some reason.
She has new spot in Bywater in the old Mariza location.  It looks good, too.

I didn’t have an issue with the service the one time I was at a real table. Otherwise bar service has been typical for bar at a nice place. Every bite of food I’ve had there has been great.
  2. I played some yard game a few weeks ago I liked.

You take this cylinder about knee high with the circumference of about a 55 gallon drum. Team game. Throw a frisbee towards it and you can let it go in for max points or teammate can slam dunk it for a point less.

Could y'all recommend the best Jefferson's Bourbon for under $100 a bottle? I'm considering Jefferson's Reserve, Jefferson's Aged at Sea entry level/Single Barrel/Cask Strength, and Jefferson's Chefs Collaboration.

Why are you limiting yourself to Jefferson’s?  I enjoyed the bottle of Chef’s Collaboration when I had a bottle a few years ago. Hated the Ocean. Would have poured it down the sink if I didn’t find a poster who wanted it.

  4. I think I have watch ADD. Was supposed to get a new watch for Christmas. Still haven’t even been to a store. Keep changing my mind what I want and putting it off further. I may have narrowed it down to what I want though. Decisions.

I hate Texas med mal reforms, most particularly the damage caps.  BUT, the requirement of having a medical professional give an opinion early on in the case, preferably prior to filing, that someone fucked up, is somewhat hard to argue with.

Wrong. That requirement is solely in place to force Plaintiff’s firms to spend a shitload of money on an expert report before even filing the case. And with the appellate decisions in place related to those expert reports it’s just another way to fuck over a plaintiff in a medical malpractice case.
