I've done some research and it seems doable. I'm hoping for some personal experiences, tips, general ideas.

It's been mentioned before - check out travel arbitrage.
Take your retirement dollars and live in lower priced countries. I was surprised that there are a lot of surprisingly lower cost options than I originally thought - Spain, Greece, etc.
Your options aren't just Mexico and Serbia.

This is not a slam dunk. Doing simple shit like getting your plumbing fixed can be a huge ordeal in some other countries. All those annoyances add up. Plus, some of the big stuff, like dealing with the legal system (if you have to) can truly be a nightmare. Capitalism makes a profit off making your US life easier.
Anyone planning to move to another country has to be honest about their tolerance for different cultures and customs.
I've talked to some people who retired and moved to another country and then moved back to the U.S. Many of them said they got tired of the cultural/customs difference. It built up over time and eventually wore them down.

whats up with grimaldis? i dont want to deal with the fucked up traffic and parking at the domain, so this pickup location on burnet seems perfect. the online ordering function never seems to work, and they dont answer their phone either. plus its a 737 area code?
It's a ghost kitchen, in the Kitchen United building. Try ordering through the Kitchen United site. Food quality can vary.

Got home late last night. I've commented on the unusual of the trip, so nothing more to add. This was a very laid back trip (no shows, no sightseeing except for Area 15-Omegamart). Just eating, drinking, some light shopping and laying in the sun. Missus had a spa day, and I had a shave + haircut.
How was Omega Mart (Meow Wolf)? Definitely interested and wonder if it's worth the money.

Movie would have been much better if there was less talking by everyone (except Chris Evans) and more action.

Does anyone here have Hexclad cookware? I’ve only seen their ads on Amazon, and they look pretty cool.
I have 2 stainless steel skillets that I don’t use, a 12” skillet on discount from Home Goods or similar store. The 12” is a couple of years old and food has been sticking on it for the past few months.
Hexclad skillets seem pretty pricy. Are they worth the money? Or should I just get non-stick skillets from TJ Maxx or somewhere and toss it every few years?
Be aware that the non-stick coating on Hexclad is PTFE (Teflon). They don't like to advertise it but it's Teflon.

Not streaming free yet. A $5 rental.

Where did they bury Gus' bodyguards who were shot by Lalo? I'm assuming they'd bury them in the lab basement next to Lalo and Howard. I'm assuming they didn't show their ultimate resting place.

Enjoyable movie.
Looks like it's leaving theaters so if you want to see it on a big screen, do it soon.

I get that. But was Howard, under the influence of the topical drug and shocked at a mediator being crooked, really going to recall whether the mediator had a broken arm in the photos.
I think it has to do with Saul. He knows that Saul is messing with him and it's going to escalate, so he's on alert for anything involving Saul. The fake pictures have Saul in them, so he's going to be immediately suspicious of the pictures. Howard is a sharp guy, so he might spot the missing cast later and put it together. Howard may/may not remember the pictures lacking the cast, but if there are enough doubts about the picture, he may just have his assistant get the pictures from his desk without making a big scene.

Netflix Recommendations
in Movies and TV
Posted
The Watcher is a magazine article stretched out into a mini-series. It's the classic "we don't have enough material but let's make it a Netflix series anyway" show on Netflix.
I've become suspicious of any true crime/thriller series on Netflix. Watching them on Netflix is like answering an unknown number that called your cell.
