  1. Bo Davis is still popular amongst the Bama fan base, they never wanted to lose him. The older players Bo coached kept that intensity for some time passing it onto younger players, but it eventually began fading. Hell, Saban rips his players new asses when Bama is up by 20+ points, that is where Bo inherited this mentality and I'm glad he's trying to implement it here. It's a shame Bo has coached here during a down period in Texas football not once, but twice because he's passionate about what he does and he's extremely good at doing it too. This upcoming class with the commits on the line is going to bring that intensity and buy into what Bo is teaching.

I’m at Welcome to Rockville. Got inside just in time to see Spiritbox fucking crush it. They are excellent live.

And Gojira. Got damn. They are so. Fucking. Heavy live. Face properly melted.

Next up Cypress Hill then Slipknot.

I dig Spirtbox. She's got some pipes on her, not to the extent of the woman that fronts Arch Enemy, but close. I've grown rather fond of this one :

  3. Give that man a raise. These players have been coddled too long, they're soft pussies. I loved the part where he encouraged them to jump into the portal, wonder who he was referring to? Was he going off on players from the DL? Or going after players from other positional groups? Either which way I'm glad someone isn't complacent and just happy to be cruising along collecting a paycheck and said what needed to be said.

    30 wins?  Ha!

    26 or loaded diaper.

There’s some talent on this team but it’s all supporting /tier 2 type players.  Maybe Vassell and Primo can develop into borderline tier 1 guys but absent that we’re wandering the desert for a while.  May the Lottery Balls be in our favor.

Honestly, 30 wins would be over achieving because the team is flat out bad. You're right some of the players are good, but they're complimentary type players. Vassell and especially Primo were project players, if they don't pan out that's gonna hurt skipping over players who could contribute immediately at positions of need. In the modern era NBA it's apparent you need at least two superstars minimum to have any chance at competing in the playoffs. The Spurs don't even have one.

  5. Serious question : did any of y'all expect the Spurs to win more than 30 games this season? They're easily amongst the least talented teams in the West. Were guys like McDermott, Young and Collins (Waste of a signing and generally just a waste of space as a player) going to move the needle?  I was hoping Pop would retire so a new era could begin with a new vision, gut the team for draft capital and begin a true rebuild. I just hope the rumors are nothing more than rumors about Ben Simmons to the Spurs because that would set the franchise back for the foreseeable future acquiring the point guard version of DeRozan. If Vassell and Primo don't develop into big names in the future the Spurs are gonna be fucked as it stands. No big name free agents are coming here, the only reason LMA signed with the Spurs was to team with Kawhi and return to Texas.

Translation, “We don’t think we can get a good coach this cycle.”

it’s probably not a terrible play. Replacing Frost with another mediocre option doesn’t solve anything.

I’m really interested to see what LSU and USC do. The coaching market is shit.

Tom Herman to USC? Most of his players are there anyway, oh Orlando too.

  7. If Sark loses to KU and CDC kicks his ass to the curb I'm going to personally email CDC and direct him here to surly where he can find an individual who identified Traylor as the next big thing five years ago. CDC will shower said individual with millions of dollars and appoint him to lead the next head coaching search because he's obviously a visionary with the ability to peek into the future.

  8. To fix Texas football you must pay the 5 stars with whataburger bags stuffed to the top with cash. Large bills of cold, hard cash. No more choir boys, you go after the hard pipe hitting boys. You don't recruit the offensive linemen that help little old ladies across the street, you recruit the ones finger banging sluts in study hall. Texas doesn't need any more weaklings that curl up into a ball and quit at the first sign of adversity. You need someone who says stop being a bitch and let your nuts hang.

If you were the last off the Charlie train you're indeed the village idiot, that speaks for itself. It became blatantly apparent in year two when Texas got punched in the mouth by TCU and ISU to a combined score of 74-7 that he wasn't ever going to pan out, but go ahead and brag about sticking with Chuck Strong to the end. He was great at USF too, wasn't he?

  10. Titans get two games against 1-8 Houston, 3-5 SF, 2-7 Miami and the 2-6 Jags. Toughest games left are 5-3 NOLA, 5-4 NE and 4-3 Pittsburgh. The Titans have been beaten to hell with injuries this season the most in the NFL and they're still sitting atop the AFC after the toughest part of their schedule, that's impressive.

Davis - gave up football after 5 shit years at Iowa

Harsin - Auburn is 66th in ppg and managed 3 pts yesterday

Major - now the OC at South Alabama (53 rd in ppg)

Watson -  has taken his talents to the FCS

Norvell - HC at Nevada, and has done a good job there, although I have no idea if he calls plays there or not.

Gilbert - OC at Syracuse (75th in ppg)

Herman - contributing to the offensive juggernaut that is the Chicago Bears (31st in scoring)

Quite the murderers row of play calling talent there. After leaving Texas, they have gone on to revolutionize the game of football as we know it.

Collection of brilliant offensive minds there. Tim Beck is having the best year of the bunch, ain't saying much is it?
