It was only worn once - a loss to Texas in Jack Trice on a Thursday, where it was paired with these awful charcoal grey alts we were using.

The uniform I posted up thread is light years better than this shit.  The grey alts only came close to working one time, and that was when we paired them with white jerseys and helmets in Stillwater the year before.

When I was in school we had a school president who wanted to completely erase the interlocking BU logo - the only primary athletic logo the school had ever used - and instead simply write out "Baylor" everywhere the logo should be, including football helmets. He was worried about branding and that too many people would see the BU and confuse us with Boston University. Revolt ensued, never happened.

You should see Iowa fans whenever someone wears a black alternate.

Ah yes. I remember the Bugles helmet.

Holy shit that is awful.  But VERY representative of that era’s aesthetic.

I always find it hilarious that, somewhere in administration, there was a series of meetings and lots of money exchanged and people actually thought shit like that was a good idea.

Not so sure about that, how many guys have paid more in a standard divorce to have sex with another woman and be done with their wife?

To clarify, no one time sexual encounter is worth 130k. If that's what someone has to pay for divorce to get out of a shitty marriage, so be it.

It’s all relative. If you’ve got Saudi oil sheikh or Russian oligarch money, that kind of money can be found in the couch cushions of your private 747.

    I stand by my statement

  6. I had the same reaction to that tweet. All his stupidity but much better grammar. Am I stupid or is there an insanity where he starts claiming he didn't actually write the tweets and that therefore whatever his Truth Social Manager types doesn't have any bearing on a gag order...

Is she trying to make some kind of joke, or is she full dementia? All a jury needs to see is how 26 years ago she was fat as fuck and no way anyone could find a way to fuck her fat fucking ass in that dressing room. Maybe it was Billy Bob Thornton from Bad Santa. Did she shit right for a week?

She's trying to say Jean Carroll lied and that the entire trial was motivated by money and politics.

Untwist yours, bub. Nothing wrong with not knowing. Getting belligerent in defense of one’s ignorance is Republican territory.

If you’re not familiar with Devin Nunes’ cow then there’s probably a whole lot more that you don’t know about his role in the Trump-Russia collusion scandal. I don’t think you could’ve been following along while all of that was playing out without knowing about it.

My man, relax. Go sip some whiskey. It'll do ya some good.

Then how have you ever heard the name “Devin Nunes” in the first place or about his role in the Trump-Russia-collusion-coverup and consequent payoff with an executive position in Trump’s fake Twitter enterprise?

Son, untwist your britches. Being aware or not aware of people in this grand story isn't an all or nothing/ black or white situation.

The series was a hell of a lot more fun during the decade before that IMO.

This is one of those moments where I just had some cognitive dissonance about how old I am. I was totally thinking back to the Vince Young years when I made that comment.

Not every B12 school is that way. I always enjoyed the Ok State game, and even WVU was a fun one that I wouldn't mind seeing again. But I will immediately be pissed to see Houston, Baylor, TCU, or K State on our schedule ever again. There is just zero upside to a game with those teams. To a lesser degree Tech, but they have shown their ass so much over the last 3 years I would hope it doesn't happen for at least 20 years.

Just as a Big XII fan who watches other Big XII games, the Texas vs Okie State series was damn fun for much of the last 15 years.

I just threw this together in 5 minutes off the top of my head.

Seems pretty balanced, and any rivalry not in division play (like Red River) can be harmlessly scheduled in the non-conference, because playoff access would come down to winning the division

Is that Tennessee in with the Texas schools?
