People keep saying this. The math has changed, folks. If the PAC does not make a move, they risk being left on the outside, having some of their current membership poached. Standing pat for them is NOT an option.
Not saying that KSU or KU specifically will be invited, but the PAC will have to move on somebody or risk having their home raided.
No shit. They either expand or end up with Oregon, USC and UCLA in the SEC.

So I am getting irritated when I keep reading about Jumbo getting personally involved with x recruit. Is the reasonable deduction here that Sark is not getting involved? If he is not then why the fuck not on these recruits that could make or break a class? Since I choose to believe that that can’t be the case, it is a bullshit line from the 995ers. Another possibility could be that Sark is involved but just not as effective as Jimbo.
in all scenarios i am not gruntled.
It is bullshit. Jimbo getting involved is just to calm the masses and let them know that 1. the recruit is important and 2. that all of my subscribers should not get their panties in a wad because Jimbo is on the case.
They can then slide the knotted panties into their sphincter once the recruit goes somewhere else despite Jimbo's personal relationship.

I took over 7.5. However, that was -125.
I got Texas +125
aTm - 115
I looked at Kansas as mentioned above, it was only 1 win but it was -200. I'll see if this moves prior to the season starting.

I took Texas over 8.
aTm under 9.5.

I'm not ready to condemn Pierce, yet.
Augie had what, five years of complete shit offense?
Pierce has revived that in fewer than five years. But he aint done yet.
As far as in-game coaching, there's not another Garrido out there.
I thought the HP plate ump sucked as we all did but he sucked both ways. You don't set an ncaa record for strikeouts with the pitchers that were on the mound today without ump help. That being said, Pierce should have brought that to a head by confronting him at some point. There was no pressure on the ump to act any differently.
I'm not blaming the ump. We were too aggressive early and swung at terrible pitches.
I am not ready to condemn Pierce either but this game could have been manipulated early on and it may have made a difference.

hate to rag on the kid, but that was a stupid and irresponsible swing by Hodo. when you have a 2-0 count you sit on a fastball that's up and over the plate, and you take on everything else. to swing at a 2-0 slider low and away, one that may have been ball three, it's inexcusable in that situation. it's a cardinal sin. you just can't do that. we had those douchebags on the verge of a total meltdown and we let em off the hook. worst loss in Omaha for me since LSU game 3 in 2009.
Well I thought couldn't get any worse and you brought up LSU game 3 2009.
I should have known better.

My view is that Texas is going to have a big summer and some of the noise about tertiary targets at spots like OL and WR goes away. Even Herman’s crew was cleaning up ahead of last season and this staff is a far better recruiting staff.
This is my view as well because I can't think about it any other way. I don't blame the stagnation on the staff. Until visits open up for everyone there is no need to believe the sky is falling. I know a lot of the recruits are also going to make decisions this summer but I am praying that it will benefit us for the guys selecting late that we actually put a very improved product on the field.

Fair point. However, someone here did try to equate his lack of experience as being similar to Hudson Card, which is insanely inaccurate, as Card was highly experienced at the highest HS level. However, I don't see how someone so raw can be so highly ranked. I do hope he makes amazing progress this spring and becomes an incredibly successful QB here.
This. Add to that it was his first game as a starter. His arm strength is evident but was not impressed with his accuracy or ability to escape or read pressure. His line was trash and his receivers are tiny but I do not like seeing him under throw receivers with such a big arm.

Nothing about Demas on the gigem' board. Saw a thread on Texags about it, several posters saying CDPD shouldn't be arresting aggy football players lulz.
I am surprised they aren't saying Jimbo had him arrested so he could make room on the roster. Because, trust Jimbo.

What should expectations look like for Demas this year?
Most difficult player for me to predict for the 2021 season because he could continue to struggle to make the adjustment or could burst onto the SEC scene as one of the league's top young receivers. The range is pretty significant, and it all depends on what the talented second-year receiver does between now and next fall in terms of his preparation. The talent is there, with the only thing he lacks physically right now is that Demond still hasn't packed on very much weight. But all of the other tools and physical attributes? He's got them. And he's getting better. Has been since the last month of the season or so. I'm just not ready to call it a sure thing just yet but am hoping to feel a lot more confident about #1 making a game-changing impact next fall coming out of spring ball. He really should look like a different player next fall.
I'm going to go with continue to struggle. It is hard to gain weight smoking weed, even if you eat the whole bag of chips.
