Thanks. I did manage to see this exchange:

Heard claimed Depp had grabbed her and sexually assaulted her with a wine bottle in the middle of three-days of assault from Depp in 2012.

It was the same year she gave him a knife with the inscription, 'Hasta la muerte', or 'Until Death' on it.

Vasquez asked the master deputy of the court to show the knife to Heard and the jury, which he did.

Vasquez said: 'During these cycles of violence you gave Mr Depp a knife as a gift?

Heard said: 'I gave him a knife for a birthday present early in our relationship, around 2012'

Vasquez said: 'That's the knife you gave to the man who was hitting you'

Heard shot back: I wasn't worried he was going to stab me with it'.

Vasquez said: 'But you gave it to him?'

Heard admitted: 'I gave it to him'.

Yes, it is totally normal to give a man who threaten to kill you a knife as a gift.

  2. JD's lawyer is baiting AH and she is taking it every time.   AH's lawyer are not protecting her at all on the stand.  No objections which is a real mistake.  JD's lawyer is eventually going to get AH to lose it on the stand.  With her fucked up personality issues it is only a matter of time.

  3. JD's attorney is showing the jury that Amber can't keep her lies straight.  AH is saying that people that testified before her are incorrect.  AD's attorney is asking her about specific beatings, then showing pic of AH without comment of AH the next day without any injuries.  AH responses are straight out of the bi polar narcissistic playbook.  The I don't recall, or I don't agree with your characterization of that.

  4. Agree with the Trish hate.  She needs a full body blur indeed 🤮.  She seems like some old gal that travels around to nudist camps that wanted to try this show.  I hope she taps and we can get on with the show.

I will say that while Facebook sucks, the obscure cars for sale groups are pretty fun.

This was on there the other day.

Man I am having flashbacks of my childhood.  My mom had an el camino wagon in this same color scheme, wood panels and all.  All that green vinyl takes me back.  My brother and I used to ride in the back and slide all over the place.  The 70's were such a magical ignorant is bliss time.

  6. I wonder, do guys who are in those outlaw motorcycle clubs.  Not the wanna be guys like dentists and accountants that are in clubs, but the real gang type clubs.  Do those guys take the mandatory motorcycle safety course to get their motorcycle license?  Or are they too outlaw for that?

I have a supplier discount through my employer that would save me a few grand in a new truck, but the first dealership i talked to said they can’t honor the supplier discount because of allocation. Is this a thing across the board now, or just dealership specific? Most lost don’t have what I want so I figured I’d need to build to order anyway. In Houston so I’ve got a ton of options and am shooting my preferred build to several dealerships. Is this across the board or just dealership specific? Not the end of the world but a couple grand is still a couple grand if I can get it.

I just bought a car and used the supplier discount from my wife's company.  Dealer took it.  Also gave me a small rebate for doing 0% for 36 months.  They had one in the showroom and I drove it home.

I am curious about the online selling of a used car.  I see where you can put the info in and they quote you, but I assume when they get there if your car is not in as awesome shape as you made it out to be they cut that quote down.  Anyone have experience with this?

The stuff I'm looking at are subscription-based that we use at my company... Wood Mackenzie, IHS, S&P Global, etc., so I can't really link them here unless you have a subscription.

In their latest long-term forecasts, Wood Mackenzie has nat gas power demand falling from 28.7 Bcf/d in 2026 to 28.4 in 2031; S&P Global has it falling from 29.7 in 2026 to 23.1 in 2031.  IHS has it peaking a few years later (2029) but falling after that. Of note, IHS's long-term forecast is the most stale (from February) and the other two both revised down 2026-35 power demand in the most recent updates so it will be interesting to see if IHS follows suit in their next update.

And to be clear, I'm talking about L48 demand, not world demand.

After working with this data for internal forecasts for the past few years, I just feel like there is a LOT of recency bias when prices make dramatic moves. Like in the summer of 2020 I remember getting into arguments about whether or not gas would ever get above $4 again because it was below $2 and there was nothing above $2.40 or so on the forward curve, even though forecasters kept talking about production was going to fall and prices would rise.  Now I'm having the opposite argument where nobody can imagine it going below $5, lol.

It will eventually go back below $4.  10 -12 years ago natgas  was $8 and then it came down hard.  We had a long run of it being cheap.  But by 2024 we should see cheaper prices.  And that is just a guess on my part, it is a very real possibility that I am way off.  Speculation is evil, and rarely correct.

Other note, it looks like some are reporting that there is a diesel shortage about to hit the mid atlantic area coming in a few weeks.

This heat has me working on a deal for a bunch of wholesale blackout curtains from China. I just need to pay an Instagram/TikTok girl to peddle the curtains online by exaggerating how fresh and cool her apartment feels while wearing a skimpy outfit. Then I can sell the curtains for 20x the cost.

If you have her fart on the curtains you can increase your profits even more.  But the paradox there is farts create global warming, so you will have to figure out if you want to be a climate profiteer or not.

  10. My dad drove Cadillacs all through eh 80's.  All company cars, the perk of his position.  I think my favorite one he had was the Seville that was silver on top and black on the bottom.  All the rest were white.  His last one was a Fleetwood, man that thing was huge.

Be kind to yourself during that effort.  Not to say you shouldn't limit it, but don't beat yourself up too much about it.

I'm not sure but I don't think anyone ever went to jail or lost their job b/c they grabbed a handful of candy.  Leave some room for grace and be easy on yourself if you fall short of your goal from time to time.

I already fell short.  Going to have to ease into this.  I had a massive headache yesterday.  So I will ween off over time.
