  1. I feel like Meanwhile is generally considered the best overall brewery in Austin . PHP gets more credit for IPAs and Live Oak/ABGB get more credit for lagers, but Meanwhile is consistently winning medals for lagers and IPAs.
  2. front end of the bullpen looked great this series and very promising start by arrighetti. nice to get a series win vs a good team when your 2-3-4 hitters manage 1 hit a piece over 3 games.
  3. that was such a colossal failure of an inning, we almost the deserve the game tying crawford box homer soto is about to hit
  4. siri’s earbling looks ridiculous.
  5. yankees have more home runs through 2 games than we have total base hits in 2.5 games
  6. now a cumulative 11-70 (.157) with 0 extra base hits.
  7. can’t let meyers hit there. give me caratini or dubon.
  8. I’ve listened to the new Lord Huron single (Nothing I Need) like 15 times today. Love it.
  9. not what i was saying at all. just a reference to the big stalwarts like founders and bells who were making darker, maltier IPAs with crystal malts more recently than other regions. obviously places like TG, FFF, pipeworks were on the leaner modern IPA grists earlier. joke would have been more accurate 5-6 years ago.
  10. Pit over, Atl under Bos over, Min under
  11. when Cam debuts on thursday he’ll be 227 days older than Kyle Tucker was when he debuted
  12. one of my favorite beers of all time, but good god that’s a horrible presentation
  13. the fucking musers are taking 2 weeks for spring break???
  14. have not listened to one second of the ticket this week and i’m not on vacation. just don’t care about anything other than the musers these days. i’ll usually listen to 3-4 hardline segments a week on the sportsday app.
  15. absolutely loved the dog stars and hated station 11.
  16. also done World of Pain and Natural Zesty Enterprise, but didn’t can those two.
  17. i am tasked with naming a lot of beers…
  18. did both of those things when i visited for my honeymoon in 2016.
  19. it would also be nice for Diaz to have a ‘23 Diaz like year. OPS went from .846 to .766 year over year (60% increase in PA).
  20. they’re making less money now with higher prices. sucks from the consumer side, but even PHP can’t survive on $6 IPA imperial pints today.
  21. just lamenting the waning enthusiasm for craft beer in general. hype and lines for PtY would be a welcome indicator of the strength of the industry.
  22. that is actually kind of depressing. i had PtY for the first time in 2014 when i made the trip to the brewpub in santa rosa specifically for the release. next had it in denver for my bachelor party in 2016 at euclid hall (RIP), one of the great early gastropubs. edited to add pic of my first PtY
