Stabify isn’t douchy enough. A more douchy-trendy typical name would be “Styb”.

it drives me crazy that in the age where everyone loves to post photos of their beer can with appealing artwork, that for 90% of those i have no idea who brewed them. put the goddamn brewery name on the front of the can.

honest question, who brings their dog on vacation to mexico and if travelling without a dog, why on earth would i want to spend time at a dog park without my dog when i’m on a beach vacation?

through 6 games:
offense has 3 doubles and 4 homers

Be sure to check out "Ruffy's Cantina". It's a combo bar and doggie park/ doggie daycare.

Question related to scheduling: MLB has opening day on a Thursday and then on Friday, only 5 games were played. On Saturday, the same series continued. This coming Thursday our heroes play at the Twins, in their home opener. On Friday, Astros are off. Saturday and Sunday are also at MN.
Just coincidental, or is there some objective reasoning for the Friday off in the middle of a series?
teams charge so much for the home opener (dynamic pricing!) that they schedule a rainout day so they don’t have to refund all that $$$. -
Finally… some legit good beer on this thread

if anyone is interested in 3 tickets for opening day (sec 424), let me know. ran into better seats.
paid $561 total and don’t need to recoup 100% of that. -

Tie. Drabek and Swindell.
serious answer though is Nolan Ryan, Moises Alou, Yuli and Brantley are probably the Mt Rushmore. Rank them how you want.
the astros traded for moises alou.- 2

P Ryan still around here? Haven't seen that dude in years.
he’s still in houston. built a wildly successful company with a business partner and now focuses a ton of time and energy (and cash) on sports collectibles. -
I’ve known p.ryan since we were underclassmen at UT and recently visited his house to see his collection in person. it’s really amazing. seeing his stuff and also reading Ball Four and Joe Posnanski’s Baseball 100 last year gave me the itch to get into some vintage cards. as a kid i started with ‘87 topps but always loved the look of the 1971 set. decided i’d try to collect every HoF from that set. took a couple months, but got all the players plus the managers who were elected as players.

I’m in love with the mixed smoked beers six packs from live oak.

I still hate it passionately. A handful of long extra inning games per year are cool and memorable.
agree 100% -
Incorrect.
My carrier carries the Rangers, but not the Astros.
he said choose a carrier that does offer ATT sports net. (maybe that’s not possible in lubbock, i have no idea) -
Olympic stadium is rare one to have on your list
had friends in grad school in boston and new haven back in 2003. flew into boston and the 3 of us road tripped to montreal to catch the astros. saw bagwell’s 2,000th hit. place was a huge shit hole.- 1
