I wonder if they have a "parlay" bet on Biden and Cornyn winning Texas.
I'm wondering how much you want to lose. I'd be thrilled but I don't see it.

they may suck, but they didn't shit on us on the way out the door like corn and aggy. they are welcome back.
Arky thought us and aggy were joining them in a couple of years.

Keeping surveillance on Carter Page is not anywhere near as big of a political crime as Trump using taxpayer money to shake-down Ukraine.

I don't get how one can call Hillary Clinton a total fraud. Those are strong words. She never did accomplish one thing in her 30 years? And what does that make Trump?

Why not just tear RLM down.
That place sucked just as much as the real dude
As a math major I took probability there in the fall of '72 and it was the PMA building. Yep, the Physics, Math, Astronomy building. It was named after R L Moore the next fall.

I'm not going to be singing it at games. Mostly the fact it was debuted in a minstrel show but also because it's a bad music parody. If that's alma mater material then I wish we would have gotten rid of it and asked Weird Al to just write us a new one.
The Eyes will be louder than ever when games resume so your voice won't be missed.

LOL at that anti-Biden defund the police ad just now on tv in Houston.
Jesus.
Bought and paid for by the trump campaign.
I've seen it on MSNBC many times in Austin. Pisses me off.

Yes, but Trump miraculously managed to win the nomination. So he runs the party now. Do you honestly think Romney could’ve primaried him? 30% of this country is full-on cult. We’re fucked for a while.
Hope the fucking ends Jan 21, 2021.

Because abortion and judges. Keep in mind that I would put the over/under on Trump-financed abortions at 6.5, but it is what it is.
Aren't all Republican candidates for president against abortion and in favor of conservative judges?

If a compromise is reached that allows a version of "The Eyes of Texas" to continue being played, can it include a provision that the band play it at the correct tempo?
We will never get this shit fixed.

Same here. It has been the butt of jokes since I was in school.
Really? People make jokes to you about The Eyes because it is it the tune to I've Been Working on the Railroad? I hope you've gotten therapy and friends with better jokes.
I remember once at the ou sucks game, probably 1971, okies sitting by us stood and said let's sing I've been Working on the Railroad. Like I gave a fuck. They are hurt we have a loud, proud song and they don't.
We used to sing I've been Working on the Railroad back in the 50's when I was in grade school. I never knew we were racists when we sang it in 3rd grade. Shame on us. Who and where does anyone sing it in 2020?

So in that scenario, the EC totals for Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania are just never counted?
Also, lets make it enough of a bloodbath to where Biden gets to 270 anyway. Looking at you, Ohio, Georgia, and Texas.
How about Florida?

Lupe Valdez was so bad that I voted for Abbott.
Texas Democrats need to improve their candidate quality across the board if they want to flip the state. I liked Beto and I like Hegar tho.
The night she won she was smacking gum while at the podium and didn't give a good victory speech either. The gum smacking drove me crazy!

There are an awful lot of people out there who feel they have won their position in life by hard work and grit. They have been bombarded with the 'welfare queen' story so often that it is 100% truth. There is no other side to it. There is no white privilege working against the minorities, only their laziness to improve their station is to blame.
They are completely sure the Democrats will take away their hard earned things and redistribute them to those lazy people who refuse to work. You see it every day with messages from the right. All this 2A shit dotard keeps spewing. The common message about it all is the Dems are going to take it away from you!!
This is northeast Texas in a nutshell. I'm talking Louie Gohmert territory. They don't care about tax breaks for the ultra wealthy or for giant corporations. They care about the Dems want to redistribute the wealth to minorities who want free stuff so we have to vote for Republicans.

I still can’t believe tzintzun Ramirez got so close to making the run off.
Those types of candidates can’t win in a state like Texas.
How about the democrat for governor in the last election? I'm a yellow dog democrat but geesh Texas isn't ready for a candidate like her.

Doesn’t matter how it’s song. It’s the origin. Bruce Springsteen could move to Haiti. He will always be a Jersey act. This isn’t hard.
Virtually no one living today knew that the song was sung at a minstrel show in 1903 until a couple of days ago. That negates your stance that The Eyes of Texas is specifically a minstrel show.

I saw Nirvana perform in Austin, therefore they were not a specifically Seattle grunge band.
Do you hear how ridiculous that sounds?
We sing The Eyes in the way people used to sing songs at minstrel shows? I've been doing it wrong for 49 years.

How is it not? The song parody was requested by program director of the Varsity Minstrel Show and it was debuted at a minstrel show.
FYI, it has been sung at events that have not been minstrel shows in the last 117 years; hence, it is not a specifically minstrel song.
You're welcome.
