Just skimmed over the 247 list of OT’s. Aside from the fact that the pickings are razor thin now for uncommitteds, the fact that Kentucky has 2 Top30 OT and we’re struggling like fuck to land one (rank obsolete) is a real kick to the dick.

Related, other than staying on top of the recently missed on guys like Banks and Williams until NSD, does anybody know what the plan is moving forward?

Is there a single one of you claiming your appraised value is bullshit who couldn’t sell it for that price or higher right now?

Mine went up 21% and is still 20% less than my house would sell for in the next week.

I own a duplex on Walsh Tarlton Ln that went from $707, 000 to $1,207, 000, a 71% increase. Went. Up. $500,000 in one year. Taxes went from $15.8k to 27k.

And it would not sell for $1.2M.  I could accept something around $900k but not $1.2M. It is a screw job.

  3. I knew the appraisals and property taxes would go up a lot for my Travis Heights properties but the shocker was my duplex off Walsh Tarlton Ln. The value went up 500k  which is a 70.7% increase.  One. Year. That is BS.

Taxes on that one duplex went from $15800 to $27100 or $941/month more. At my current rental rates it will take about 6 months to just cover the property taxes. The rule used to be 3 months of rent would pay the property tax

  4. The Eyes of Texas was written as a parody on President Prather in 1903 and people honestly think it is referring to slave owners keeping their eyes on runaway slaves? Really? It is not a proud fact but there were no Black students at UT for over 50 years after the song was written. What sense does it make for the students who were all white singing a racist song referring to Black slaves?

If that were the case then it would have been documented as racists can't hide their racism for that many decades. And if the song was written for that purpose then of course we would ditch it.

I think an issue between young and old is that the olds probably had way less diversity on campus. They probably had their Conservative/Liberal divide with way more white people, but the ethnic and racial divides are much higher now than when they were on campus.

I'm a 1973 graduate, there were 4% Black students then and 6% now so I don't consider that very different. The biggest difference is the white percentage of students has decreased due to the increase of Asian-Americans and Hispanics. The campus was extremely liberal as evidenced by the size and number of anti-Vietnam War protests and McGovern won the presidential race in '72 by getting over 90% of the vote against Nixon.

In 1971 the Student Senate voted to change the mascot from the Longhorn to the Armadillo because the Armadillo was more peaceful.

This is impossible. Listening to Chirs Cuomo with my parents over the years, I’ve been assured by Chris himself that he is the ultimate moral compass. He’s never done a bad thing in his life and can’t fathom how someone can. What a fucking douche bag. Such a holier than thou cocksucker. Burn that fucking family to the ground

Has Chris been accused of sexual misconduct?
