Arkansas is Sark's Maryland. There's no excuse for losing short of some horrible string of injuries.

Statistically speaking, that's probably a safe bet around here.

I don't know if it's the proximity to Oklahoma or what, but Dallas has an unusually high number of douche bags per capita.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting
Apparently, none of them could find the stadium. It was their first time visiting campus and they had to ask for directions. Most of the people they approached thought they were homeless and walked by without acknowledging them. Those who did acknowledge them all said some variation of, "hey dumbass, did you notice everyone else walking in the same direction towards that really large building that looks suspiciously like a stadium?" They never did find it and left Austin vowing never to send their children to Texas.

He's the Jerome Bettis of receivers. A guy his shape shouldn't move the way he moves.

2021 Texas Orange-White Game - April 24, 1 PM, LHN
Both quarterbacks looked good and bad at times. The receivers went back and forth between terrible and not completely terrible. The o-line struggled in pass protection but did pretty well run blocking. The defense seemed solid, if unremarkable. My only clear takeaway from the game was that Bijan is really freaking good.

And in breaking news... My sources confirm that neither team is actively trying to bore fans during the spring game.

Shane Buechele
Shane is a shorter, more athletic, way less goofy looking Bernie Kosar. A sportswriter once said he'd seen wedding bouquets thrown harder than Kosar's passes. If Kosar can do it, why not Shane.

We just won't give him the ball when it's 3rd and 200m to go.

2021 Texas spring football thread
Sarkisian has mentioned a few times that he doesn't like wide receivers getting the ball standing still. That hasn't been the focus here in... maybe ever.

Lebron James is just an average three point shooter. I don't see why LA fans make such a big deal about him. He's no Joe Wieskamp.

Bijan is a stud so it won't really tell us much about coaching or scheme if he makes defenses look terrible (other than the coaches are smart of enough to give him the ball). But it'll reflect really well on the current staff if guys like Brewer play at a high level.

[takes a swig of koolaid]... Big deal. Who cares that Card has to wait until the second quarter to play?

Texas AD Chris Del Conte
I find it amusing that $9.95ers didn't have a clue we were hiring Sarkisian until the last minute yet insisted they knew exactly who was calling the shots and how the process was carried out.
