Still unconfirmed but pretty much confirmed by rumors of the initial reports is that Iran relcoted their nuclear material from these bunkers before the bombings. This, in my mind, makes the bombings a failed mission.

The only reason I initially liked this move was if it was a destruction of Iran's nuclear capabilities, but even if this bombing was a failure, there are still some things to like. Namely, the Iranian response appears like it's going to be a limited one based on intel and it's a good reminder to the rest of the world that America sees you when you're sleeping and can find you anywhere from the latest lethal autonomous vehicles to the stealth bombers carrying 40,000 lb payloads with tech from the 00's that is still relevant today.

Interesting to note the only countries to rebuke us for this are...checks notes... China, North Korea, Russia, Cuba and Venezuela. The rest of the world has either backed us publicly or said nothing at all.

I'm in the camp of if we are upsetting those misfits, then we are doing something right.

The nuclear materials itself weren't the problem.  At 60 percent enriched and you can't get it any higher no one cares.  The fact that the Iranians were getting to that high of a number and telling the world they weren't doing anything else with it is kind of curious though.  In the US by DOE rules, civilian nuke plants can only be less than 4 percent enriched.  Our submarines are like 85 or something but it's because the reactor core is the size of a small dumpster.  So the Iranians knew they were crossing some sort of line.  I don't blame them though.  I would get my hands on a nuke too.  I would steal one if I had too after this

whether it is or isn't the current motivation it has been the genesis of the conflict that has remain unresolved for 50+ years. the conflict can migrate to take on a life of its own apart from the original motivations making it just that much more difficult to untangle. no doubt today its about radicalism, proxy wars through terrorism and nuclear capability, but hey if the West could solve those three, I suspect the West would do so AND strong arm their way into a deal for natural resources, say some oil and gas and some rare earths as well.

Am going to Nashville regional from Chicago most likely. Midtown Nashville is pretty much become every version of Midtown XXXXX, Fill in the blank. Good spots are Cookout, Chuys,Velvet Taco as food options. Nashville is a place with good restaurants but not good food (Hot chicken hurts your asshole).

The shabu shabu place next to the Residence Inn is pretty good

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. My thoughts:

1.) We don't allow Pakistan to use our planes in offensive capacities.  The F16 being involved would be an issue.

2.) Rafales being shot down by JF16s would be shockingly unexpected unless they're using targeting systems and missiles we haven't considered.  Either would force us to reassess our understanding of Chinese capabilities.

    3.) What's the J10's role in this?

I know we underestimated Chinese capabilities on submarines for years.  We are finally coming around to that

That's a great camera.  Thanks for linking. Has he used the translator tool? That's what first caught my wife's attention.  We're wondering if it works as well as the marketing videos make it out to.

Full disclosure.  I work for Meta.  We get a free pair of glasses a year.  The translator tool works as advertised.
