Yea, fuck all of this. That sounds like a serious exercise in masochism. The man must hate himself and food.

The only thing that all of these weak ass attempts to lower oil prices do is the following:
1) further convince opec they have us over a barrel
2) illustrate the tightness of the market to major speculative players (trading houses, hedge funds, etc.
3) ensure that prices will continue to stay high and slowly rise further.
there’s some analysis floating around by JP Morgan among others that in a month or two, Cushing will be at tank bottom levels meaning it will be effectively out of shippable crude.

Still running the stock tires here.

My average mpg for 7500 miles of mixed driving on my 2020 ecoboost is 17.3.

Like I said, Holmes walks. The feds rolled over in jury selection.
The only solace I’ll take from this is that Holmes will struggle for the rest of her days to pay her high 8 figure legal bills.
Will she ? Isn’t she married to a billionaire / hundred millionaire now?

I looked at skiing the alps and the lodging gets booked up way in advance and it was not cheap when I was doing recon. 300-400 euros a night was what I saw in 2018-2019.

When I’m fly fishing I change my tippet at least once every couple years. I find it gets brittle over time. Even with thermal cycling that can come from day and night variations when stored in the garage.

Damn that looks fucked up!!

LAX doesn't have a train.
Lol. That may be the only dubious compliment you could pay LaX. However that is a factual statement.

I take the train to and from the airport out of union station and I think it’s far superior to driving. You guys have got some fucked up mental comparisons. United direct into Frankfurt is a pretty easy trip over the pond too.

I don’t like surgeons knots very much… I feel like they break off easy.

Has anyone used United Pluspoints to upgrade to Polaris / business intercontinental? If so how was your experience with it. I just got 1K and my buddy was telling me the plus points are nearly worthless.

Got notice that my Larue Complete Upper was built. Ordered on August 28 and completed on Sept 7. Not too bad really. Stoked to build it out once I get it.

Yea, Lufthansa business is some of the worst out there. And the seats are shitty and closely spaced.

I moved to Denver in 2018. Still there.

Clear is the bomb. I fly ~20 times a year out of Denver and Houston and other airports. I like being able to just roll up, walk through, and hit the lounge.

After being a boxer brief guy for awhile I’ve gone back to boxers and it was a breath of fresh air.
patagonia has some realllly comfy ones that I’ve gravitated towards.

Nice! Yea I was planning on using an aero lower too. I don’t have the Texas edition but that would be perfect for a Larue.
For the trigger I saw some good reviews of the Hiperfire… single stage and 3.5-2.5 lb break, adjustable. Anyone use these?

That link isn’t loading for me
edit… it did finally
-
Yea you can back into a really nice AR for 11-1200 assuming you buy a top quality trigger and then go pretty standard on the rest of the equipment.

Damn that thing is looking nasty.

We use those in the oilfield. Usually the exhaust is routed outside of the breathing area. Seems like you might have a different (and shittier) design than we use if the exhaust is entrained into the hot air discharge.
