Yea it’s a bad one, takes a while to heal. Really good it was stabilized by the boot. That’s a pretty common skiers injury unfortunately.

One of my friends got that same ski boot fracture in Jackson hole around 2013 or so. It’s a hell of a hill.

Happens on safari and duck duck go. I usually use duck duck go but safari can take the length a little more with the Twitter embeds. It cries uncle after a while though.

For the record I appreciate all the posts going on here, I just want to be able to read them all as well.

I'm not saying he's not doing us a favor, it's just slow as shit and makes the page jump all over the place when they are loading.
My phone will stop loading pages and it’s impossible for me to read the rest of a page, it shits out then reloads the page constantly trying to complete it unsuccessfully.

Not sure about all the other sources of sulfur but At least some of the very high h2s oilfields that would create a lot of pure sulfur for the global markets have moved to reinjection of high h2s gas for reservoir pressure maintenance.

Eating Ramen and frozen pizza from the Dollar General in Knox City this weekend. Life doesn’t get any better. Only gonna cost $450 in diesel for the privilege.
CHIEFDon’t forget to give a shout-out to the Knox city greyhounds while you’re there.

They are stocked yearly. They don’t all die. Some hold over in the deeper, cooler water near the dam. People actually do a pretty good job of not targeting them in the summer…probably because the idiots assume they all die and the guides stop targeting them by the end of April or so. TPWD stocks small Rainbows. Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited stocks some larger browns from a hatchery in Southern Missouri that do fairly well in the guad.
Was just wondering cuz 23” is definitely inching into trophy size. In the sierras usually stocked fish are 10” or so and then they sprinkle in some footballs for the tourists.

Can you remind me if all the trout in the Guadalupe are stocked yearly ? Because it warms up so much it kills them every summer. That’s been my assumption

Dude. You need to get smarter about choosing lines without rocks.
-
What kind of coffee will you be making? Typical rec from me is a Baratza Encore.

Dude you have a full blown infestation.

That’s the worst failure I’ve seen, by far. So that makes sense 😂
-
That’s a tough spot. What did the repair shop guys tell you ?
-
How old are those skis? That looks like a major rock shot not just snow.

Been slowly piecing together the 16” Larue upper I bought last year. Got it assembled last month. Just picked up an Eotech EXPS2 for it yesterday so that’s the next addition. Then I’ll be ready for a little range time.

Also, it looks like they redid the sign lately since that pic I posted 😄.

I fairly regularly fly the KLM 787s and have flown the Lufthansa Business class experience enough to know that KLM is light years ahead of the Germans.
the Lufthansa experience is very Teutonic in that there is not much luxury about it. The seats are usually shitty and small (width wise) and often in a 2-2-2.
The Dutch ladies are usually friendlier flight attendants as well. -
Damn man. I spent five years hanging around the central coast, you sure managed to hit a lot of highlights in your trip. Well done.

I hear ya man @Grimas. I’ve been working expat for four years straight and trying to save as much as I can. Lot of coworkers who’ve been rotational for a long time have multiple ex wives and so many toys at home they can’t quit the beast. It’s quite a confluence of factors. Needless to say, this can be a bit beyond just the good old Raptor and Boat crew.

I'm 3rd generation O&G and have been in it for 15 years. I don't mind risk, but that doesn't mean I can't wish for stability. I have positioned myself to be "boom/bust proof" to mitigate the risk and make sure that if I transition out of the industry that it won't come with a big pay cut. But to say that those wishing there wasn't risk shouldn't be in O&G is quite the broad brush, doctor.
How does one become risk proof then? Don’t be circumspect. Data scientist?

Yup. They don’t give out business class for free. No matter what.
-
Get on websites like thepointsguy, they always have reviews of various airlines cabin experiences. It should help you compare. I do a lot of international business class flying but it’s usually on KLM, delta, United, or Lufthansa, so I can’t help you out on this particular one.

Man you aren’t kidding. Just reading that note, think of getting the ski boot off that fucked up leg. Ouch.
