I am just not sold on Murray as being a difference maker at OU this year.  He is a great athlete with "potential", but as a freshman at aggy, he beat a very, very bad South Carolina team, lost to Auburn and beat an average Western Carolina team.  He did not face a murderer's row by any means.  He threw 3 interceptions against Auburn in the loss.  At aggy he had 5 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.  His longest completed pass at aggy was 26  yards.  He rode the pine a year at Oklahoma and then only started one game last year due to Mayfield's suspension.  I don't believe Orlando is too intimidated.

I might as well use his high school highlights as proof to why he will win a Heisman this year. It would be equally relevant.

This reminds me, some time back I was talking to a cop...wait, before getting to the conversation with the cop, one time I was talking with an insurance adjuster and I asked “what percentage to cars on the road don’t have liability insurance” and she said “AT LEAST 25%”. I was like holy shit, that’s a lot. OK, so back to the conversation with the cop, I’m like “why can’t you guys build a computer system that scans license plates as they drive by you, and you get a green light or red light depending on whether that car has liability insurance, since all that data goes to a database”. Right? I mean, it’s pretty basic technology. You park a cop car on the side of I-35 and you can scan thousands of cars per day. Whatever car doesn’t have insurance gets pulled over, car impounded. You can get your car after you pay a hefty fine, say three times the cost of liability for a year. Anyway, the cop goes “yeah, no, we can’t do that”. WTF?

At least for my department, a vehicles insurance status can not be used as a reason for contact because the database for insurance is unreliable. If I pull a vehicle over for a different reason and the insurance shows unconfirmed and the driver is unable to provide proof of financial responsibility, then the vehicle is towed.

  3. I was the officer roasting ass at the putting green near the Nelson suites. Jesus it was hot all week. Didn't talk to too many players just not to interfere, but met lots of interesting caddies and coaches. Pretty interesting experience being on the 'inside' of the deal considering I grew up going to the tournament.

Edit: And yeah it was a logistical clusterfuck on all fronts. I am optimistic it will be smoothed out as time goes on though. Got to get a better field, though. Felt like a Web.com event a lot of the time.

  4. My friend had her last surgery(hopefully) yesterday and is still making a strong recovery. She still has a long road in certain areas, but she is incredibly strong and has come so far in such a short period of time. Thank you to everyone who prayed for her and I ask you continue to keep her in your thoughts.

Dolphins with some changes to their uniforms...darker orange and removal of blue outlining.

These look pretty good, all things considered.

I dunno about being a good example, that video showed a bunch of dumb ass Sooners.

Does OU figure out their DC blows before UT figures out their OC blows?

Mike is what he is. We had the right plan to win the Rose Bowl. Just didn't have the horses(depth) to pull it off. Solid linebackers and physical corners are a must in his defense and we haven't had either in a while- which he is partly to blame.

The defensive recruiting has improved, but I still wouldn't mind ditching him and Kish if those groups don't turn around strongly.
