    – Elite 2019 Wide Receiver and Sooners legacy, Jadon Haselwood took an official visit to Norman this weekend. I have spoken briefly with Haselwood and we are set to speak again soon.

Haselwood told me that he loved the visit and it was a really good selling point for his mother who had never been to Norman.

A source I spoke with echoed the sentiment that his mother was blown away with the family atmosphere. The source also stated that Sooners Wide Receiver coach, Dennis Simmons, made her feel at home. The source added, “Jadon’s mother has only been on two visits, OU and UGA, and she was clearly feeling at home. Even made the statement that the coaches seem to care about the person Jadon is, rather than the football player.”

That again speaks volumes to how Riley, much like Stoops, runs a very family oriented program. That family atmosphere seems to be a calling card for the staff because Haselwood’s not the only visitor to state such sentiments.

If we end up getting Haselwood and holding what we have that will be the best WR class I've ever seen, I believe.

Any chance he's had to gain any respect from me he's taken a big shit on. He is an absolute shill for Putin/Russia and he couldn't make it any more obvious. He's a disgrace to that office and the men that have held it before him.

That's the truly amazing thing about Trump.  He manages to find people who are loathsome in every possible dimension.

Is Pruitt a complete whore to industry over the environment?  Check.

Is the leader of an agency actually opposed to the agency and its very mission on almost every philosophical level?  Check.

Does he abuse his power by ordering employees to do his bidding, regardless of legality or ethics?  Check.

Does he view the treasury as his own personal slush fund, to be abused for personal purposes and gain at every turn?  Check.

You get to hate him for policy reasons.  You get to hate him for competence reasons.  You get to hate him for ethical reasons.  About the only things he's avoided so far are sexual deviancy and animal abuse.  But....Oklahoma....so, don't bet against those quite yet.

Seriously. There could not be a worse person running the EPA than Scott Pruitt.

There's burgeoning hype being passed around in baseball circles regarding the prospect status of a one Kyler Murray. There were MLB teams in Norman this week who sat down with the guy and he's picking up a ton of contact. Much of this is sparked by the reality that KM has a decent toolkit put together that makes him projectable as a CF, which makes his valuable. Add to that that it looks like he's putting the tools together to have a decent season, and he's starting to draw a lot of interest.

Murray was viewed as a prospect heading into his SR year in high school. He then warded any MLB teams off from drafting him, as he was tiny balls deep in Aggie at the time. Then, last season for the okies, Murray had an abysmal year and his prospect status fell of the radar. This year has changed that.

Now, don't get me wrong, there's probably going to be nothing to this. But maybe...

If Murray were to get drafted and leave OU, the choices are not pretty. They're left with Austin Kendall and Tanner Schafer to duke it out at QB heading into 2018. That would be the most potent duo since Ace and Gary. So basically, a highly drafted Kyler Murray would put a rough buttfuck on the Sooners. Of course they'll show up to tell me how wrong I am, but it wouldn't look pretty.

One other thing that's truly interesting about this situation is that Kyler Murray's uncle is Calvin Murray, the Longhorn baseball legend. Calvin works for, and closely with, Scott Boras. Kyler Murray's ability to maximize his upside in the draft is tied to a willingness to forego another punishing season as a college QB. Murray knows he has no NFL prospects as a QB and is enjoying the baseball season. It all could very well come down to how important it is for Kyler Murray to be the starting QB at OU. If that's not important and he continues to thrive on the diamond, the okies will be shitting themselves come August.

All I have to add is Tanner Mordecai will be in Norman this summer. And both Kendall and Murray are good enough to win the Big 12.
